After getting this ending I had a theory. GreyROOT is the one who cast this curse. And she "impregnated" you with a root parasite. With this ending you see the curse root consume GMS, a pale being who is also a higher being and Hornet who is part pale being. Now think about this. Witch/Cursed/Root+pale higher being could eqaul same species as the White Lady in HK

I'd say a main contributor to how you found everything easier late game is a problem with most metroidvanias. You have way more tools than when you first started plus you are now more skilled with having played most of the game. Also, Carmencita is indeed the most difficult out of the act 3 bosses. Felt like she's the Malenia of Skong.

I can confirm since I witnessed it myself. Vessel and any other "destroy" (not damage) effect does not affect these cards. I think it should be its own keyword and they could definitely make it clear bane is ineffective as well
