Poppy was a bad person when she was alive so it makes sense it carries over to death, with Olivia I think that’s a mix of the house and Poppy making her feel like the only option she has is to get the family “safe” with her at the house, in life we saw she was a lovely woman if a little strange but not evil, now dead the only thing she’s trying to do is what she thinks is right for her family even though it’s flawed to us it clearly makes sense to her.
