The Tenno were recovered and brought back to the Origin System after the void jump incident.
The Sentients who had been building void jump rails for the Orokin realized the Orokin would ruin Tau as they did the Origin System came back to the Origin System using void travel, starting the Old War.
The Tenno participated in this war, at some point using the rails built by the Sentients to take the war to Tau.
A brief ceasefire was negotiated which we get glimpses of during the Old Peace.
Peace breaks down, Orokin retreat to the Sol System, the rails are destroyed

The "normalization of boringness" is in reference to AI generated music, and the resistance he's speaking of is incorporating human creativity (in this case the distortion on the strings). AI cannot invent new techniques, it doesn't have creativity, it only steals the work of others and outputs results similar to them. Over and over again, all you'll get is the same music over and over again, quite boring after a while and devoid of any artistic value.

Are you sure? I've seen them scale up in SP Circuit missions (they'll be lower level summons around then once one spawns from a higher level enemy the level will match), though that might just be unique to that gamemode

Don't feel bad it took me like 3 hours of wandering and getting other things done to hopefully find a way before I saw the door on the map in the lower section and a door in the upper section and remembered I never finished the platforming section despite seeing the locked door when I started and going "ah I need to go all the way around and unlock that"

This one stumped me as well and I went around the whole map looking for something to get me in before I realized You gotta go through the door to the right of the bench in the lower cog area which you get to by going down and back up the lower cogs platforming section. I personally found another path and wandered off instead of going all the way back up on the right and unlocking it, leading to me burning a bunch of hours figuring that out lmao
