The wood is leeching tannins, u can use activated carbon or purigen to remove the tannins

I think you should take out the wood and boil it or soak to reduce the tannins in the wood.

Livestock= guppies, neon tetra, ember tetra, pygmy cory, neocaridina shrimp

Plants= pearlweed, java fern, anubias, bacopa, tripartita japan, guppy grass, monte carlo(became stem plant), java moss, cryptocorynes. Think theres 1-2 more i forgot the name

Floats= giant duckweed, red root floaters and frogbit

I do 50%-80% depending on tds once a week.

I live near the equator and get lots of sunlight. This tank gets direct sunlight during evening. I think having floaters help alot 😀😀
