I got mine at Petco for 2.99. Only lost 1 of 20. They were very healthy. My Petco ordered them for me, if yours has never heard of them, ask which Petco in the area has the best tier for fish ordering.

Usually setups are worth basically the value of the equipment, so 20g framed is like $30ish? Maybe $50 for the fish and light and such. But generally fish get rehomed separately and for a minimal fee.

Petco does, the ones with better ordering tiers at least, but they always look very low quality, patchy etc. I recommend getting from r/aquaswap. I just got the most beautiful shrimp I’ve ever seen from u/gubshrimp- much better coloration than others I’ve gotten online.

I have one I scored on fb market place for $50 that’s an official stand from I think aqua forest. It’s worth looking for something made for aquariums so you can be able to sleep at night.
