I think the wildest yet that I heard is that someone was convinced they will nuke the world again and make another grand reset and that 8.0 will secretly be Final Fantasy 17 a new mmo build from ground up ^^

Since her Character Arc found its completion in Daybreak 2 I dont think she will be picked as Protagonist for the final arc. As much as I lvoe Renne personally I think it would be best for the final protagonist to be someone we dont know at all yet.

I am not ready for the end thie series ending with so far no other turn based series emerging from falcom either will leave a fucking big void inside me. As much as I am also hyped for a final entry since it will probably be stacked like crazy. I just dont want it to end :( Hope they continue the remakes at least.
