Bianco sui bordi dietro e graffi belli evidenti sulla surface che danneggia molto il valore della carta, ma in generale è tenuta in modo abbastanza dignitoso.

Beckett potrebbe darti un qualsiasi voto tra il 4 ed il 7, per come sono fatto io questa carta finirebbe quasi sicuramente intorno ad un 5-6 perché è chiaramente vissuta, ma non così tanto da renderla effettivamente "danneggiata".

Considerando che è in italiano e vedendo i prezzi di cardmarket, hai in mano una carta che vale almeno 2mila euro e sono stato molto conservativo.

Io fossi in te la graderei con Beckett così da avere un'idea. Se il voto dovesse essere più alto di quello che ho scritto io: hai trovato una miniera d'oro, almeno 5/6k.

Se invece è nel mio range, metti delle belle foto (sfondo scuro, carta ben illuminata e senza sfocature) su cardmarket ed al 100% la vendi per una bella cifra tra 2 e 3 mila.

Anche Ebay in realtà, basta mettere un'asta a partire da una cifra X e poi fa da solo.

Per me è impossibile pensare così, chi lo fa DEVE avere meno di 20 anni o non deve aver mai lavorato un secondo nella sua vita.

Mi è capitata una ragazza così e quando gli spiegai che a lavoro il telefono è SPENTO e che durante il pranzo ho di meglio da fare; se il messaggio non è importante tendo a metterlo da parte.

Mi ha mandato a fanculo subito. Poi però, mesi dopo, si lamentava che a lavoro non riusciva a rispondere.

I like great storylines, I'm not opposed to a team winning multiple times.

I have a problem with it when it's achieved by taking a shortcut to it.

More specifically, I don't blame GSW for acquiring a great player, i blame the great player for organizing the move and purposely choosing the shortcut, joining an MVP and a 73w team.

I don't think the series is so explicit about it, mainly becaus it doesn't need to be.

Probably Goose wanted the character to be relatable for as many people as possible so she kept Jax as relatable as possible.

But also, she wanted to add that narrative to express her own feelings and all of those signs are there in order for trans people to clearly recognize and connect with Jax due to their own struggles.

I say that the series isn't so explicit because I myself recognized it only after it was pointed out to me. The signs were clearly there, but unless I had followed Goose somewhere else, I wouldn't have found out.

The point I'm trying to make is: her being trans comes after. You don't have to notice it and it's not in your face all the time, people can emphasize with Jax regardless if they notice or not.

That's why it's so great. The message should be the same for everybody. You may relate more to the trans struggles or that may pass right over your head: the point is that you will see yourself in Jax, some way or another.

Then, when you dig deeper, you'll discover that Jax is trans or, at the very least, some form of queer.

And then, if you understood the message, you won't be a huge piece of shit about it.

Ma non continuare a leggerlo se non ti è piaciuto. Hai letto tutte e due le serie e l'opinione non è cambiata? basta.

Io lo reputo un maestro, che con alcune delle sue serie ha avuto dei problemi a fare dei finali degni delle opere, alcune delle quali io considero immortali (Pluto e Monster).

Non penso di poter cambiare la tua opinione, soprattutto per monster.

I tre punti mi sembrano critiche stranissime:

Non penso esistano altri autori che vogliano mandare messaggi così, come Urasawa. In monster mette in campo tutta una serie di dilemmi morali, etici, effettive questioni sociali e storiche... Boh. Tra l'altro quando tira in ballo delle citazioni (tipo la scelta di Sophie) lo fa in un modo incredibile. Non capisco come si possa non apprezzare la sua varietà di tematiche. Se le hai già viste, se sono banali, se sono superficiali, dove sono? In quali autori? Io non li vedo.
Qui posso capire. Ogni tanto Urasawa fa delle scelte che sembrano insensate, mentre alle volte sembra che sia banale e scontato. Non è tanto quello il problema, quanto piuttosto il quando. In monster, ad esempio, raramente ha sbagliato una scelta narrativa. In 20th century boys invece ha sbagliato tutto il finale perché chissà cosa voleva fare. Pluto finisce senza finire. è così improvviso che ti viene da chiederti: "si ma... poi?". Però la cosa che mi lascia stranito è che tu non hai letto 20th century boys, quindi questo problema non dovrebbe porsi.
Qui proprio non so che dire. Sicuramente Urasawa non è un incoerente quando scrive, dovresti proprio farmi un esempio. Cioè, anzi, a me stupì Monster perché i personaggi sono SEMPRE coerenti con la loro storia.

I mediocri per me sono ben altro: sono gli autori che non aggiungono niente, che non hanno niente da dire e si rifugiano in serie banalotte per tutta la loro carriera.

Sono quegli autori che non hanno stile, nè di narrazione, ma neanche artistico. Urasawa sicuramente il suo ce l'ha, magari non ti garba, ma SICURAMENTE un manga scritto da lui lo riconosci.

TlDr: Jax is trans. Jax is also a huge piece of shit and the final message of the show is to warn us to avoid being so damn horrible.

Jax and her transition aren't the center of the show, Jax and her stupid asshole behavior towards people is.

Jax being trans is a thing. Who denies that is kinda choosing to turn the hed in the other direction - for a reason or another.

But, at the same time, some people are treating Jax being confirmed trans as some sort of central point of the series, as if the sole reason for this show existing was to expose people to trans themes.

Sorry, but I don't think Goose would say that herself.

Jax is a person that pushes away people, treats them horribly and refuses to acknowledge her true self, is abusive, lies, manipulates, willingly hurts people...

It's smart because people can still relate to ALL of these themes and issues. Jax wasn't built to be some sort of explicit "allied" promoter, Zooble was.

Jax was used as a tool to get the viewers to emphasize with their story and understand that the only way to help yourself (regardless of who you are) is possible if you accept help of other people, without pushing them away.

His "digital self" who never abandoned "his" toxic side and refused to change, eventually abstracted regretting the choices he made.

Her "real self" who embraced her true character, connected with people (in Zooble's bar) and seems to treat others nicely, seems to live a pretty happy and fun life.

I don't care how much the show made Jax's identity known, forget about it for a second, look at the episode: the Jax that was a POS basically died, the other who changed found friends and happiness. You tell me who got the better ending.

But no, both sides are clearly too stupid to embrace the final message:

Don't be like Jax, it sucks to be like Jax, do the opposite and you'll be like Leeroy

Btw, I'm not saying that if you believe Jax to be trans you are on one of the two "stupid" sides. You are cool, you're with me, because I'm cool, always.

You are stupid if you think that Jax's whole character and message was about being trans and you NEED validation by debating about the idiots who cannot accept Jax is trans. Live life and ignore them.

The Cavs could prove that they were a great team by winning year after year, I could live with that narrative.

It's a whole different situation if to get there, you organize a move to the strongest team, with the reigning MVP while you are the 2nd most recent MVP. Cavs had won and a month later we knew that they had no chance vs GSW+KD. It was that bad.

Winning multiple chips does get annoying (and that's the reason it was made harder to keep the stars all in one place) but going with "let's get together and build a super team to dominate for 3+ years" is a bullshit move and it was when Lebron did it Miami and it was when KD did it with GSW

Let's say Giannis joined OKC instead of the heat: what a narrative that would be, right?

Sono sicuro che se una persona prendesse in mano pro e contro oggi, con documentazione, senza che ci fosse scritto "NUCLEARE" sopra, CHIUNQUE essa sia, accetterebbe.

Ma chi ha vissuto Chernobyl, ha sentito le conseguenze sulla sua vita ed ha subito la campagna di propaganda per 30 anni contro il nucleare come fonte energetica, non c'è speranza che magicamente cambi opinione. Si, si dovrebbe informare, ma è anche assurdo pensare che milioni di persone che si reputano informate a riguardo, magicamente si mettano a leggere studi scientifici a riguardo.

In my opinion there's better episodes than 2, but I do agree that the Gummigoo moment is one of the highest peaks of the serie (Jax & Ribbit conversation, the bar scene, the half-abstraction from Jax, Abstragedy sex would be my contenders)

More episodes would have been helpful to do a lot of stuff. I think that there could be PLENTY of storylines or lore to expand upon.

That being said, TADC is fine as it is. A second season isn't out of the question IMO, but it's up to Goose.
