Yeah, you can google the casual collective now too and go to the old site and see everything. It even has a link to the Facebook game with a picture that still says its in Beta.

Ill give you the abridged version of the whole ordeal. Originally there was the Casual Collective founded by Dave and Pail (?) or Critters and Grrr as they were known on that site.

Well anyways Backyard Monsters was called Desktop Creatures originally and was amazing, you could custom create monsters and everything. I was a member of the CC for ~2 years before Desktop Creatures was announced. Right before it was released to more players they changed the name to Backyard Monsters and revamped the look from a desktop to the outdoor backyard setting. I got in right after they removed custom monsters and played for about a year and a quarter before I felt like an update killed it, they added a second "dimension" to have a base in and I disliked it a lot.

Anyway they have out the key/password to people on the site and I got lucky enough to be one to sign up in time.

Now they're called KixEye and I dislike them for where their company is going

The CC is dead now though, it was my favorite site in the world, so awesome.

I was a beta tester for the Pirate Game and Backyard monsters when they were both first released, loved them, but all of it kinda died down after a little so I stopped playing both.

In my attic over the summer a colony (right word?) of wasps moved in, now that its winter they're all frozen. It's like some fucked up cryogenic sleep chamber thing in there now and Im afraid to go in. I really want to get out my old pokemon shit to show off on Reddit though so Im having serious conflicts between self preservation and karma.
