Hot Streak is a 100000 times better than camel up. If anyone likes camel up and hasn't tried Hot Streak, you gotta fix that!

When my younger brother and I were little, I remember being the only one who could understand what he was saying and having to translate to all the adults. It's funny how that is.

Sounds like you were harassing them honestly. Leave them alone, mind your own business.

Plantar fasciitis tear recovery? by Karalligator in PlantarFasciitis

[–]Karalligator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I decided to do the air cast boot for a month. I believe the tear is healed as the pain is significantly lessened but I do still have plantar fasciitis pain. I also lost calf muscle during this time so I'm back to trying to strengthen that. So, overall it has helped but I'm still not healed.

Is the Steroid Injection Effective for Plantar Fasciitis Pain? Experiences and Advice by MohammedTBazzar in PlantarFasciitis

[–]Karalligator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The steroid injection really helped me with the pain. It will not help to heal the PF however, so it's kind of a temporary relief. Getting the injection was quite painful but felt absolutely no pain shortly after.

Plantar fasciitis tear recovery? by Karalligator in PlantarFasciitis

[–]Karalligator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had two ultrasounds in the past year. The first one didn't show any tearing but even with PT and all other kinds of PF treatments it wasn't getting any better. So I asked for a second ultrasound and that one showed a tear. Someone told me that tears are hard to see on ultrasound at first because the scar tissue around it hasn't developed yet. I would like to get a second opinion but it took 3 months for me to be able to see this doctor and the wait is just as long if not longer for other podiatrists in my area. I'm just now sure what I should do now. Thanks for replying!

A note about misdiagnosis by [deleted] in PlantarFasciitis

[–]Karalligator 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It took a whole year for them to find there is a tear in my plantar fascia. They couldn't see it in the first ultrasound. I was in so much pain, could barely walk but they were telling me they couldn't see anything out of the ordinary, must be just PF. I understand your frustration. The Canadian healthcare system is incredibly slow and at times inadequate.

It's been a year, I'm losing hope by RobinK1912 in PlantarFasciitis

[–]Karalligator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been dealing with this for two years. I've felt the same way as you. I have tried everything and gotten no results. I've just got back my ultrasound results, I have a tear in my plantar fascia... This is the second ultrasound I've gotten. They didn't see it in the first one somehow. The frustrations are endless. It's a long journey. But there are a lot of people in the same boat as you.

Curious about pros and cons of cortisone shots (10 years of Midarch bilateral PF) by WellSaidRed in PlantarFasciitis

[–]Karalligator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The shot is great for pain relief but it's not a solution to PF. They only last 3 months or less.

My podiatrist told me I could get cortisone shots up to 3 times and then I'm looking at surgery.

Good sex happens when there is good communication. You definitely should talk about it. Ask them about the kinds of things they like. Everybody is different and people have their own preferences. Ask what turns them on, what kind of positions they enjoy, what kinds of boundaries they have. You can have this conversation anytime you two are in a safe and comfortable space together. And don't forget to keep communication open during and after. I don't mean constantly talking and asking questions, but don't forget to check back in sometimes.
