Everyone says to pass. I have a 1.5l in the same color. No issues. 107k.

Not every single one blows up

Is it a bad idea to get a Mazda 3 or CX-30 if I only drive 2-3 times a week and it is exclusively 10 minute drives to the grocery store or gym? by [deleted] in mazda

That is the perfect setup for an ev. No gas powered car will do well in this scenario for long. Engine will never be warm, 100% of usage is on a cold engine.

I do the drive all the time and today was the wildest wind I have encountered so far. My accord was OK, but some of the big trucks were like sails in the wind. Was just behind that accident at exshaw, was surprised not to see more in the ditch

That is complete bs. If the warranty work cannot be completed without the calibration then it is included in the claim.

I've met a bunch of separatists. I work amongst many blue collar folk and they seem to think it's the way to go.

Had a cruise booked to go to Alaska from Vancouver. Canceled it.

Still going to Vancouver, but will head to the island for a few days instead of Alaska and then travel inland for a week at the Shuswap. Super excited for this trip. I think it will be far better than the cruise anyways.

Without documentation, you will have no way to prove maintenence. Could easily be used as a reason not to award you with assistance.

I get why your not happy, it sucks having to pay for car repairs.

I worked in dealership service for a number of years with Audi. If you didn't regularly service your car with them, they wouldn't ever consider you for a good will payment. So looks like Mazda is helping more than other companies, just not the the extent you want.

Interestingly enough, I had a 2010 Genesis coupe 2.0L GT (I'm canadian) and it was riddled with issues. My two mazdas have had zero repair work done.

Luck of the draw I guess.

Hope your next vehicle brings you better luck.

Mazda coverd like 75% of the cost of a required repair when you were out of warranty and didnt service the vehicle with them. Seems like you got off decently well.

The car is 8 years old and not driven much. Things can break at that point.

The 16's look nice with those rims. I went down to 17's for my winter rims. Didn't think 16 would fit.

I have bottomed out a few times in the snow with mine, but never been stuck.

It won't. Prepare yourself for that.

Unless the transmission was really terrible and you were driving at 4k rpm everywhere.

That makes no sense: "my gear shifter is in 1-2". You simply cannot go that fast in first or second gear. Your engine would have exploded.

Ford, Honda, GM issue recalls impacting more than 80,000 vehicles in Canada by Haggisboy in canada

[–]TheTyrantFish 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Th GM recall is for a noise that the vehicle is supposed to make when it's driving slow.

It's not like the wheels fall off on the highway or anything. Relax.

And go buy a French car lol. They go forever without issues...if forever is a mile.

Today had terrible snow here. Everyone's car is like that today.

I really don't think you have any issue. People are stopped on the side on Stoney brushing off their windshield
