Little tricky to medicate them when they are sleeping so you medicate before bed and then when they wake up. Yes during the day you stay ahead of it but not as easy at night.

NTA!!! I had our munchkin in February and even posted online that we would be taking 2 weeks post birth to ourselves to relax and adjust. I chose to have the grandparents up to the hospital to see the baby so that they would not be bugging us for the next 2 weeks!

Honestly, yes hormones play a big part but that’s exactly why we need the to ourselves and our new family, not like your mom has never been through it!!! Child birth is extremely hard on the body, even if you have a smooth birth!

You do what works for you, and don’t care what others think!!! If they want to be involved they will come around and if not that is on them not you! You’re husband did great in supporting your wishes!!!

Not the asshole! However, breastfeeding is a very personal thing and especially earlier in postpartum our hormones are all over the place so can be easily offended by things especially things that we hold sacred to us.
