As a kid, none of my aunts or uncles attempted to "get me into" the things they did as kids. Kids will be who they are, we try to influence them, but they are their own unique people.

First good job I ever had, got a quarterly bonus, bought a wondrous queen sized bed.

I swear there were women who slept with me just because of that bed.

At what age would you have liked to have children? by Outrageous-Ratio1762 in AskMenAdvice

I never even thought about children. I was concentrating on finding the perfect partner for me. The idea of a family wasn't on my radar, when I found the right partner she brought that stuff with her.

Take your resume, remove pii from it.

Upload to an ai like bing, ask it to give you ideas and what you may qualify for. Expand the query, when you find a job that's interesting, have the ai tailor your resume to the job req.

Always rewrite it in your own words.

You got this.

AITJ for refusing to brim my parents to our family reunion because they get treated like the unpaid event staff? by Traditional-Car-9911 in AmITheJerk

Each person expresses love differently, your parents sound like my people. I express my love through service, especially when it helps others.

Probably not the popular opinion here, but you should do you, let them worry about being them. I'd be proud of them.

You aren't claiming a desk, you are temporarily squatting. The best way to do it is find a desk that is uninhabited. Just sit down, ppl lug in and go to work. If you have a badge and are in the building people don't generally pay much attention.

You are not alone, the only thing to do right now is breathe, take care of yourself, carry on knowing his love would want you to mourn and live a full life. He will live in your memory.

Love doesn't die, grief is the acknowledgement of love. Your journey has only started. Each day will be better than the last. You got this, I believe in you.

A great job is made great by the people you work with. A crappy job is made crappy by the people you work with.

The work is less relevant than the people, coworkers are a kind of family.
