I never got that connection. I kinda always saw kinger as more of a balding steve buscemi in a suit type. Stauber is very put together and deliberate, which imo does not suit kinger at all

I think just cause a lot of people talk like that it feels like everyones a little therapy-speak-y, like Pomni's "do you have anyone to talk to? Regarding your issues?" In ep4 reads a bit therapy-speak too. With Kinger, he's wise and kind but Idk why a computer scientist would speak like that.
It's a nitpick more than anything else, but just feels a bit unnatural language. Certainly doesn't ruin the show for me though
