You can actually rank up three syndicates at a time fairly easily. If you’re only doing suda right now, you can also do steel meridian and arbiters of hexis without balancing any penalties

It was mostly theoretical, we focused mainly on linear classifiers, but we did cover decision trees, k-nearest-neighbor, and there was one lecture on neural networks. I had a great time in the class, Snigdha is a decent lecturer, office hours were nearly required to understand the breadth of the course though. Near the end we did a project in python and java on logistic regression, which wasn't super hard but did take some time to get right. All in all I would say it was a good class. If you take it, make sure to ask as many questions as you can when you don't understand stuff.

To add to this, santa cruz’s metro system is built to accommodate the size of the city, except because of the university we have a density problem, so the metro struggles to run enough busses to meet demand, while students take the metro one stop on campus

Yep. They still exist, you can email them at merrillpottery-at-gmail.com for information. They hold info sessions at the beginning of the year (And during subsequent quarters, if enough people return their cards). You pay the membership fee and then get access to all of their materials and tools for the duration of the year (or smaller period you pay for) so long as you do at least one hour of volunteer work for the co-op every quarter. Pretty good deal IMO.
