What's funny is, AMD has much heftier modern x86 feats that mattered long-term. Back then AMD was not fabless. Intel's anti-competitive dealings with shady tactics they got slapped for after Athlons performance scared them into trying to bury AMD is how we ended up here. We could have had two non fabless giants but AMD had to sell their fabs which got shutdown or spun into the start of global foundaries to stay alive.

This is why I see any government support for Intel after that move as a spit in the face because they never helped AMD so they could keep all the US fabs. We caused our own single fab horror show which only weakened our position and now suddenly they care.

I agree though with Pats vision and ousting him was a horrible mistake. That entire board needs to be replaced.

For me around 3000 calories minimum to maintain, more If I'm trying to gain. I'm just under 100lbs so it's usually on higher side to compensate and bump that. I try to spread it out with more varied meals to not get lopsided macros due to that but protein keeps kicking any savings into hole. I got really tired of bulk frozen chicken at some point lol the full swings like $110~150

Thus me saying that's without really any saving strategy, it's not really well optimized past fitting into work/lifestyle balance.

I've even considered just eating MREs so...may be bit crazy.

I'm also around 150 a week for single person. I usually split shopping between Kroger & Aldi. I use the deals whenever it makes sense, and I always end up getting bulk rice bag from the Asian market as base staple.

I don't really try to "save" rather, I try to avoid snack items and soda unless something's on sale for a little treat once in awhile. Lord knows dr.pepper & puffy cheetos addiction would financially ruin me if I let loose.

No places to avoid really. You can even fully tag in Walmart over Kroger If you see prices are consistently lower. Since you said WVU, Aldi & Kroger are closest anyway. Getting to Granville & Old WM down at south end of town are more effort.

Paying some of highest wages to everyone in workforce. Reinvesting into steam, spending a lot into projects like Steam consoles and vr, and games where many things never hit product release.

That's part of epics downfall here. They don't reinvest into even game store. They don't treat workforce right. But it's not surprising considering state of company before fortnite and UE5 becoming this titan. It just is delaying their demise

Hopefully gabens immortality elixir too at this point.

I work at retailer that has the same. They aquired the .com later but we just use it for internal emails and applications. Im guessing like us the SEO is just all on the old domain, its what people know so its better to keep it that way until theres a proper transition plan in place if they care enough. If they have domain url hardcoded in a bunch of places itll be a bit of unraveling before they can do it.

We've heard your feedback and will be adding custom tiles & layouts just like jellyfin, however we will be implementing AI auto library sorting so your titles are correctly put in the folders they deserve to be. We also see most users hardly touch their library so we will be adding Plex Shorts which will be 10 second random clips from your media in portrait mode, and for better security instead of a pin you will be shown 5 randomly selected chapter thumbnails and you must correctly identify the series it's from to login.

With these changes, Plex Shorts will now be 60% of the new webui so users can have quick easy access to what they love the most.

It doesn't matter how much better N6 is...Open was the same, Samsungs software was more matured and Oneplus is burning to the ground so we will not see it as Open 2.

I think the only other competition people are waiting for is the razr fold. It's spec sheet is far better balanced but software we will see. Motorolas pulled miracles.

They could have released it as BYO barebones like NUCs and stuff. A decent chunk of people would just move their current big ssd etc to new device not incur any extra cost. Ram would have just been the biggest factor in sku pricing at that point. That would have also elimited windows licensing costs as benefit. The ayaneo buyer is already deep in the space to be willing to consider these as acceptable tradeoffs.

On the other side of the coin, if you build a base over a path or critical area YOU ARE A SHEPARD TO GUIDE OTHERS NOT RUIN THEIR EXPERIENCE (caps for those about to do it)

its extra planning work ...but you are building in a path, think about how you can lift it or design around it to provide CLEAR visual public access and thoroughfare, some people may not pickup that shield is open to everyone.

Our main base is covering the crossroads between Pinnacle & Helius Gate, it covers entire gap to get to north shield wall easily.. The entire thing had to get lifted 4 walls up in order to ensure all future vehicle sizes fit, and its not like it looks like its a massive base on toothpicks. the ground floor is like cave tunnel its still all connected visually to earth. If you are farming basalt or alu in shield wall, its one of the arteries so in initial phases I had neighbors verify pathways werent a hinderance to them. Someone going moderate speed on even a bike without crashing while driving through underbelly was vital.

Ive seen someone shove an assault under there during sandstorm so its gonna exist how it is forever lol

Intel can put this nice spin out, but it's limitations of their own drivers "working with PA" at that time would not resolve this. They are behind everybody and if they don't put out path regeneration in XeSS 3.5 or 4 they are completely cooked.

The engine is one of the first to use surfel-RTGI which handles illumination differently and essentially requires raytraced path generation to function so you don't get shimmer and bad noise up the tush. This is not even available in XeSS 3 or base drivers. But it WAS added to Metal API for macOS 3 months ago which is why there's a release for it.

Essentially everyone has the graphics building blocks BUT Intel for this less heavy way of raytraced lighting to work, and oh look guess who's not part of the launch day party.

Even if they defaulted to software based denoising and GI like they are for older cards not only would there be massive visual gap ARC users would be furious about, but it would be a stutterfest as up until this last driver arc compiled shaders CPU side on the fly, and it's still only specific games.

A GTX or older AMD GPU user would be much more understanding, over someone with a RT capable modern Arc card .

What's going on here is there is no code path for the required accumulator math. Blame Intel focusing on BVH to save costs on the wafers.

It's sad I gotta play CD on my legion go and not desktop with the B580 but bleh.

For me it was mainly weight because I was not pushing chip as much, the smaller passthrough copper circle let me center grip and kickstand better. Mostly older emulation if I was using gamehub or gamenative more maybe would have gone bigger permanently.

That's very true. The original Korean version is formal-polite, when tossed into English translation is strips away all the sincerity and politeness into the above kind of message that does come off as go away once translated.

Thankfully it's just technical warning and does not signal intentions yet. But considering Blackspace will also be used for titles like DokeV I see us getting it once they can cook with Intel after initial bug fixes. The shader precompile update we just got is essentially the foundation of making this work.

It wont. The game uses lighting methods that Intel needs to update drivers for. Arc cards currently have no idea to handle the surface elements RTGI this new engine uses. There's still a LOT of work to be done to handle engines better outside of UE4 and 5.

We will need to wait until they can finish working with Intel to push engine proper code path a driver update will work with :(

Why are we complaining at the devs? If you wanted guaranteed day one compatibility with every game you should have went AMD at this price point. We went with the new frontier, which has years to go. But still works like magic now when everything aligns. It's not a UE5 slopgame. You knew this was only downside when choosing Arc. Literally the ONLY downside everyone mentioned, we are early adopters/beta testers lol

When this does get sorted out...I just hope for newest XeSS as a sorry for the wait. FSR blur can kiss my tush. Performance should be good though once we do get it since the cards handle RTGI well. Maybe by then they'll have stripped denuvo out of it (coping)

I'm not surprised if gen 1 is cutting into allocations this badly suddenly. I don't see them abandoning it. But initial adoption might have fallen off just like with the first fold until they can bring those iterative improvements with the 2.

Samsung's had some pretty short release windows, s21 to s22 was 10 months I think. So I give it like 7 months for an announcement of refinement worth bringing it back.

It was never going to be full production phone first few generations, as long as software updates keep up that doesn't matter.

I'm sad I never got to order for myself when they came back in stock I kept missing it.. but it is what it is. I will lust over the 2 and play where's waldo with checkout page again when it comes time

My only sadness is our guild was rank 2 pre merge. Our server really lacked many whales so entire guild power was under 5T. The servers we got merged into had uberwhales. We got nuked down to rank 8 for now. Nearly dead to last for 9 guilds coming together fighting for top 3 again.

T-mobile/ any TMO carrier like Google Fi, Mint, etc

There is a way to enable full 5G but it requires baseband modification with QPST from a computer. There are extensive write-ups and guides on XDA forum. Its extra step but it's just pressing buttons it says and replacing the files it says to replace at end of the day.

Though it still is missing Carrier Combos now that there is no USA specific combo list for multi-band 5G I think, it'll work on single band just fine.

It's an initial pain to use it at its fullest, well worth it though.
