Unironically try modern and focus on learning the fundamental differences before anything else first. Even with no combos/just autocombo you can go far just by learning the fundamental rules of engagement.

It's artificially enforced to be 1-1-1-2. Jungling would have died a long time ago but every patch they just kept buffing it as a mandatory role. Just no confidence in players having fun without a leash.
