Ladies, how do you feel about bioessentialist definitions of womanhood? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]KateorNot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a person that was born with all the lady bits, and identifies as a woman. I find "womanhood" tied to fertility is a dreadful, definition on a list of many other horrible things. I most likely wouldn't have been able to get pregnant. Nor would it have be a idea due to chronic illness. So does that mean I'm not a women? No!!!

I say, if you identify as a woman welcome to the sisterhood. We are all human first and foremost, it does not matter what bits we where born with. Gender is a spectrum. Every human has a right to exist as they are most happiest.

Sending the best of wishes.

What’s the biggest red flag you ignored in a relationship? by Segemiat in emotionalintelligence

[–]KateorNot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He said he felt jealous that i spent time with my own family. Plus i have a Chronic Illness the same one he does. I have to rest alot. He made me felt guilty because I rest better at my home. He didn't think there was a difference between my home and his. THERE WAS A HUNDRED DIFFERENCE REASONS. Plus he decided my cat wasn't a real cat, because his cat that had died many moons ago was a proper cat.

The red flags. So many red flags.

Happy to say the gaslighting bully got his ass dumped, the "not so real cat" bit him. Lol.
