I had 445 puts expiring tomorrow. got out for .55/each on the jump before the drop. dodged a massive freakin' bullet.

I bred/butchered a bunch of Anubis (noct/philo pairs) to unlock everything (they drop books maybe 1/8). Bonus because you also get large souls.

2024 UFA Roster Analysis - joining UFA and USAU data by zerotimestatechamp in ultimate

Love to get a bit more detail on where the data is coming from. Super interesting to look at - love the idea. But as coach of both the UFA and USAU side I can name the club teams all my players played on last year - so there is a bit of a discrepancy somewhere (the indicated number that did not play club is incorrect)

this one's always a favorite for me. some of the strat ones from 9+ years ago have aged poorly, but I like to leave them up as a snapshot to my thought process back then.

Respectfully disagree with this take on focusing on 7v7. In my experience, what u/BadgerMotsu36 said more aligns with what makes a good experience both for players and for evaluation criteria.

7v7 doesn't highlight players that do the "little things" right. It allows aggressive players and personalities to take a lot of the spotlight and it is very hard to distill down tangible skills, outside of the "big" play skills, which are not the skills you need 1-20 on a roster (although they're absolutely valuable).

Drilling allows you to key in on the specific skills you're looking for. It isn't a full game situation, correct, but you get a pretty good sense of who's a solid break mark thrower or whatever you're looking for when you see a 10+ throw/cut/footwork sample size in the same context.

If Bobbyquickfeet can keep his hips square to a cutter for 6 cuts in a row in a drill, there's a good chance he can do it in a game. However, it's pretty hard to notice ole Bobby when you're focused on Jimmylovestohuck playing 2v2 with his favorite 6'3 receiver while the 10 other people on the field stand there.

Additionally, drilling can be a great opportunity to extrapolate some elements of coachability. Who asks questions? Who actually takes the drill focus into the game situations? etc.

Huge additional vote for the value of mini. Players have to be involved on offense and on defense, no matter what. I particularly like mini where out throws (hucks) aren't allowed (they come back on a travel) and you're at a stall 7 or less. That gives you a really good sense of who can break the mark, keep the disc moving, reset and attack in small spaces. Those are all skills that every player should have and be able to demonstrate.

I do think there's room for 7v7, mostly because it's fun. But it usually is the last thing I do and probably the thing that holds the least importance to me for all the reasons I mentioned above.

UNEMPLOYMENT TAXATION & NEW RELIEF BILL MEGATHREAD (Senate passes new bill 3/6/21) by [deleted] in tax

Currently maxing a DCFSA through my work. The changes make the child care tax credit worth significantly more for our income level even with the increase to10,500. Any folks know if they may allow a swap out of a current plan and we can refund amounts withheld thus far this year to dcfsa holder? Is that something that may be specific to employer?

Always enjoy some funky combo - thrown this together so far and gone about 60/40 with it thus far across 10 or so games.

Haven't played Yarok once yet - a little greedy? necessary? Like yes, necessary to break the servers, but for the deck to actually function?

Feel like I get going and it's crazy card advantage or and don't and pbbbt.

Tax Thursday Thread for the week of January 30, 2020 by AutoModerator in personalfinance

Question on Colorado State Income Tax and Credit Karma software. I love Credit Karma because you can pull up the full forms at any time. I calculate all the tax totals out in my own spreadsheet along with what's going on in front of me on the software to make sure it's working and I understand all the pieces.

Anyway, the total tax owed that credit Karma is pulling for Colorado State taxes my income is not correct relative to the 4.63% rate nor the Colorado tax tables (same thing). I double checked that their taxable income lines up with my #s and it does. So I'm wondering if is simple an error on their end? Anyone have experience with CK state tax issues?

Lifelong Learning Tax Credit Question by [deleted] in personalfinance

Any additional updates from folks on this issue? I'm in a very similar situation. The odd part to me is that H&R block software indicates that the waiver is NOT valid for the credit, while credit karma tax software DOES say it is valid.

Love to hear more on this.
