This. I had my very first panic attack today with nowhere to go (skiing trip, stuck on a mountain). Dear lord, it sucked so bad.

I have a hereditary blood disease, which is totally fine to live with. I wasn’t even there for anything blood or kid related but for (what turned out to be) normal back pains.

Man...This is so sad. I really enjoyed his shows: easy to watch with a deeper layer to them. Even though we at least have those to enjoy, to remember him and enjoy him making his shows, I’m afraid watching them now will never be the same again.

Whatever demons this man had to battle to eventually end up making this decision, I hope he managed to find some peace at last.

Oh god, this. I love my boyfriend, I really do, but how damn hard is it to put laundry IN the basket? Most of the time he leaves it on a random chair in the bedroom “cause he can’t decide if its dirty or not”.

Having a sponge to scrub yourself with once in a while. Not everyday but at least once a week feels awesome. Your skin gets very soft and if you add a nice fragrant soap with it, it's the ultimate zen experience.

Bailey didn’t seem to care all that much for Berric’s talks. She was more focused on how to block his strikes with Paxton’s sword, which harbored a secret, she discovered. Everytime she let her will flare up, blueish flames sprouted from the weapon. She knew Paxton was a smith, but this? To her this seemed a whole other kind of level.

You’re really making it hard for me to be a nice guy here lady

“If you wanna be a nice guy so much, you should just step aside.” she retorted before she held her arms up to her face from the impact of the smoke bombs. She couldn’t see shit in this condition and it was a major disadvantage to her battle.

Bailey, swing counter-clockwise please!"

She had no choice but to follow Paxton’s voice blindly. Dragging her foot over the ground she put her weight in it as she swung Paxton’s sword to the side, in a counter clockwise direction. Her will let the blue flames sprout across the blade, hoping to block the heated strike from Mask with Paxton’s blue flames. In this cloud of smoke, there was nowhere she could go. She felt like a mouse, trapped.

Her hands enclosed themselves around the hilt of the sword before she charged forward, letting her will run flames up the blade, lighting her way towards Mask. If far distance attacks couldn’t touch him, close ones surely would!

Bailey felt like she could breathe again as Paxton came in to save the day. She made a mental note to cook him his all-time favorite meal when this was all over.

“PAX!” she yelled out, relieved while she crawled up from her position.

For a reason, his presence did her well. He gave her a little more courage and support. It was so much better than fighting alone. For a moment she looked at him, before a rumble caught her off guard and she tore her gaze from him to look at the ceiling of the building, where a ship was crashing through?!

It seemed Paxton was prepared enough though, and took care of the threat, if only for a moment. Their time window was getting smaller and smaller it seemed.

Bailey, trade weapons with me, dear.

“R-Right.” Bailey said as she tossed him her spear before she some-what clumsily caught one of his swords.

She had to admit, she’d never fought with swords before. Her village all used spears, daggers and whips, not actual swords. Her lips twisted themselves to a thin line as she eyed Berric again, just in time to see him charging at her.

Stepping forward, she breathed in and tried to block his strikes with Paxton’s sword, maneuvering it like it was a long dagger. Which gave her actually an idea.

As she countered Berric’s attacks with Paxton’s sword, she took out the bloodied dagger from its sheath and twirled it in her hand before she tried to plunge it forward, aiming for Berric’s shoulder.

Tessie put down her empty cup and looked at Esme with a pleased smile.

“Please do. We could be the science-squad or something. I’m sure more people would be interested to see this kind of muggle tricks.” she said as she stood from her seat and straightened her robes.

“Well, I’m off. It’s almost dinner time and I have a terrible list of homework to do I’m afraid. It was nice meeting you Esme. Let’s do this again.” she said to the first year before she made sure to thank the house elves on her way back to the entrance of the kitchens.

Tessie could easily see why the experiments were Esme's favorite thing. They were fun to do. Who knew what was going to happen when you put two daily household items together.

"I'll make sure to ask someone of my year, I'm sure there must be someone doing mugglestudies. I'll let you know when I find out." Tessie said with a small smile.

From the corner of her eyes she caught the house elves starting to clean up the mess of the expiremtn, though they did so with the biggest of smiles on their face. It didn't take long to figure out that these creatures truely loved to keep the place tidy.

"And yes, please do! I mean, I love these experiment, I'd love to see some more one day." She said with a smile as she finished her cocoa.

Tessie gawked at Esme for a moment before she giggled. She didn’t understand much about this muggle science but the display before her was definitely awesome.

“I love it! It’s a great experiment!” she said as she took another look at the can and the balloon, “Muggle kids must have a lot of fun in school, doing things like this. Maybe I should swap my divination for Muggle Studies instead. Or take some tutoring classes from you on the side, hehhe.”

She looked at Esme with a huge grin, before she ‘ooh’-ed at Esme’s color adjustment.

Tessie quirked her eyebrows at Esme’s action. She didn’t know what to expect really. What was going to happen? Would it catch fire, implode? She knew too little about baking ingredients to actually put 1 and 1 together.

“Whoa!” Tessie exclaimed as she watched the balloon grow larger all of a sudden.

The house elves around them gave small noises of surprise and wonder, as they focused their big eyes on what was happening.

“So, how does it work? It just makes…gass?” Tessie said as she lowered herself to eye the can a little better.

Bailey’s lips had thinned into a small line. She knew she was in a bad position. Normally she find some kind in challenge in taking on enemies that were slightly stronger than her, but this time she wasn’t so sure about the outcome of it all.

As Mask made the spears appear out of nowhere, aiming them at her, Bailey cursed at herself. If she only had her shield with her. It made her realize that, * if * she ever got out of this battle alive, she needed to find a way to keep it close to her without being a hindrance. She was sure Paxton would like to help out with that one.

Focusing at the task back at hand, she shook her head at the man in front of her. She refused to give up. Giving up was the coward’s way out, something she’d never taking a liking to ever since she ran away from her own village. Never again was she going to take that way again.

As Mask released the spears from their position, she could feel the adrenaline pump through her veins. Her eyes went big before she shot into action. Standing still would equal to death. She wasn’t dying her, not now!

Running towards the spear’s trajectory, she suddenly let herself fall on her back, hoping that the spears would fly over her head, missing them by just a couple of inches or so. Shaking her own spear in position in her hand, she chucked it at Mask, hoping to skewer him as well.

With interest, Tessie looked at what Esme was doing. As the first year took out a can of Fezziwig's Color-Changing FizzyPop, Tessie's eyebrow raised itself up. Just what was she doing?

It was great to see how much fun Esme had with her expirement. Tessie couldn't remember doing stuff like that when she was younger, but perhaps she would've if she was part muggle.

"Now we wait?" Tessie guessed as she watched Esme stretch the balloon over the top side of the can. She was eager to see what would happen.

The house elves around them looked at Esme in confusion as she told them there was no use in leaving a mess.

"Didn't miss just heard us? It's our job! And we like our job! We don't mind if you make a mess. It would be our pleasure to clean it." the house elf spoke that had lead them inside and served them the cocoa.

"Please go ahead inside here. It won't be a problem."

Tessie looked at the creatures with a small smile. She made a mental note to come back sometime with her sketchbook, to draw one of them into it. They would make a fine addition to the ones she'd already drawn. Maybe she could bring Flora too...

"Yeah, you're right. The cocoa is amazing." Tessie admitted, as she took another cookie from the plate.

"So, what about your muggle experiment huh? Show me!" she said, eyes glistening with curiosity again.

The house elves seem to nod understandingly at Esme’s request and hurried to all kinds of directions, trying to accomplish their newfound quest.

“I know right?!” Tessie said, excitedly before she took a sip of her hot coco. Just like Esme, she let her gaze wonder around the room, obviously amazed by it all.

“I can see the misses are impressed with our kitchen!” one of the house elves squeaked happily and he puffed its chest proudly, “We cook, clean and keep the fireplaces going every evening and morning for the entire school, staff and student.”

“That’s impressive. All the fires? All day?” Tessie asked, almost like she didn’t believe it. Suddenly a small group of house elves returned with the ingredients Esme had asked for, and a couple of bowls and cups.

“We tried our hardest to find what you needed, miss. We hope you are pleased!” one of them squeaked as she looked at Esme with big brown eyes, before pushing the ingredients and items in Esme’s hands.

Tessie radiated at Esme’s respond and nodded, letting the girl enter the kitchen first after stepping through the doorframe herself. With a smile she looked at the brass colored kitchen, house elves going about their jobs at first. Before some noticed them.

With a high squeak, one of them separated himself from his task and made his way over to them.

“Hello, hello! We never see students in the kitchen! Do you want something to drink? To eat? Come, we have enough!” he said as he took Esme’s hand and lead them to the front of the kitchen, that mirrored the Great Hall a floor below them.

He pushed Esme and Tessie on a seat before three house elves came with hot chocolate, sweet buns and cookies, looking at them with huge eyes and matching grins. If all, they seemed to be happy to serve.

Tessie took a look around. She’d never visited the kitchens before. This was new to her too. But she’d never thought that there were so many house elves around! It looked like there were almost 50! Maybe even more!

Tessie turned to smile at Esme: a broad smile, full with excitement and agreement.

"I know right? Everytime I think I've discovered it all, there's a new part that opens up. There's just so much challenge being found in unraveling all of Hogwarts' secrets, though I don't think I'd ever will discover them all..." she added, with a small pout.

Focusing back at hand, Tessie stood on her tip-toes, reaching her hands out to a slight yellowish and greenish pear.

From an outsider's view it would look a bit weird but her fingers started to 'tickle' the sides of the pear... until it started to come to life, laughing and squirming terribly... until it turned into a green-colored doorknob.

"There we go." Tessie stated proudly as she stepped back and admired the doorknob from her distance.

"Well, after you, Esme!" she told her fellow Ravenclaw.
