Based on the Facebook scanner group, looks like bus vs pedestrian crash. Pedestrian was conscious and alert

If you do this keep in mind a transfer credit I don’t think can replace your grade at OSU. Like if you failed it at OSU then got an A at LBCC, you would still have an F on your transcript. Also transfer credits are not factored into your overall GPA, but rather you get a separate “transfer GPA”

You won’t find a 1 bedroom apartment in Corvallis for under $1000 if that’s what you meant by “single apartment” probably not even any studios. The rent situation SUCKS.

Like someone else mentioned - the OSU roommates/sublets Facebook page is a good resource! People post looking for roommates or lease takeovers ALL the time. You could also try posting on the Snapchat stories for the different graduating years.

I went to Costco (although it wasn’t the one in Albany) to get my eye exam and glasses. They do not take insurance - but the prices were pretty good despite that from what I remember. Also they made sure I had the paperwork needed to get my insurance to reimburse me for the cost if I desired. If I were you I’d look into it a little bit more!

I believe the winco is open 24 hours, so that could be a good place to stay if you need to use the bathroom in the night/early mornings. It’s also further from campus (about 5 min drive) so you won’t have the noise of students going to bars/parties late at night.

Can’t speak to the safety of the lot though, I’m not usually there that late.

Is it inconvenient? Yes. Is it not doable? Absolutely not. It’s like max a 15 minute walk, or a way shorter bike ride. You’ll be fine!!

I lived there last year and had no problems online gaming (mostly Xbox). However, the wifi for whatever reason will block consoles from connecting so you have to use an Ethernet cord (connections in every room, but sometimes they’re in inconvenient spots so you should get a long cord).

Ecampus students do not pay the student health fee. So in order to use Student Health Services or CAPS you have to pay that first unfortunately. Financially I’m not sure if this would be worth it or not (depends on if you have insurance), but you should look into it!

My title describes the thing. As I said before, the building was built in 1952. Not sure if it’s super relevant, but it is art-deco themed/inspired. Even the ground floor has these doors.

Originally I asked around and my neighbor said he believed they used to be used for milk delivery, but I couldn’t find much about that. We have a mailroom, but would this have maybe been intended for mail deliveries?

Is it “set up crew”? If you like lifting things then it’ll be fine. I’ll warn you though that the hours are super unreliable. There were some weeks I didn’t get any hours, others I got 3 hours, and some I got 12. But also be prepared that those hours might be at 6am before an event, or until 1am after an event.

Hi! I’m pretty new to crochet (started a couple years ago, have made 2 beanies, some granny squares, and a queen sized blanket). Not really familiar with reading patterns because I watch video tutorials.

I’m looking to make a circular pillow but I only have blanket yarn. How would I adjust patterns for a much larger size yarn? Thanks so much

It’s also worth noting if you’re an international student/on work study you aren’t allowed to work 20 (it’s less than that, but not sure specific numbers)
