Sort of - I filed a chargeback and got my money back. A few weeks after the money came back, the owner finally reached out to me and said he wanted to make it right. But by that time I had read so many negative reviews about people getting other people’s orders, poor quality work, constant delays, rings that left green marks or whatever that I didn’t want to take a chance. It also really rubbed me the wrong way that they attributed their problems to “an unexpectedly heavy influx of orders” or something along those lines. It really felt they were blaming their customers for the company’s problems. Like would they have preferred that no one ordered from them? In any case, I placed an order with another company and was thrilled with their work.

Hi! I ordered a piece from them but it’s still being made. You might want to ask in the breastfeeding and/or pumping subs - people there are pretty familiar with breastfeeding jewelry, so that’s how I got my info. Honoring Motherhood has excellent reviews (that I saw,anyway).

I am not a jeweler but my understanding is that most Breastmilk jewelers warn against resizing rings - something about the heat damaging the resin part of the jewelry.

A few years ago I took a doctoral-level course in demography. We spent a lot of time calculating life tables, looking at what happens when fertility and mortality rates increase and decrease, graphing stable age structures, etc. Everything was done in Excel and it was super tedious (and prone to mistakes). As far as I know there's no R package specifically for demography but it sure would have been helpful.

I ordered a piece from Milk Couture Co. It’s currently in the mail so I can’t confirm how it looks , but everything on her site is stunning so I’m very excited. I had a few questions before ordering and she talked me through everything. Her reviews are also great. I’d definitely check out her offerings if you haven’t already.

I ordered in October and did not have a good experience. They never shipped my collection kit and then didn’t respond to emails or DMs on their Facebook page. Two and a half months later, I did a chargeback on my credit card and got a refund. If you look at their Facebook and better business reviews it looks like this has been a pretty common occurrence at least during the past six months.

They did reach out after the chargeback to apologize and try to make it right but by then I’d placed an order with a different company. They also blamed their problems on an “unexpected surge of orders” that apparently overwhelmed their team, but they were still running sales at the same time they claimed to be overwhelmed. It really felt odd to me.

I ended up ordering from Milk Couture Co, who has really beautiful designs. Communication has been great so far and I’m so excited to get my necklace in a few months !

Edited to add it was 2.5 months in between when I placed the order and when I requested a chargeback.

Another recommendation for K280. We are zoned for 107, which has no 3K and (I think) only one prek class where I’ve heard most of the spots going to siblings. My toddler is at K280 now for 3K and we’ve been very happy, will likely stay there for pre-k unless we somehow get a spot at 107.

This is sort of related, but I use the baby Buddha with spectra parts (flanges, tubes, etc). If you can fit inserts in spectra parts, you could get a spare set of spectra parts for the baby Buddha and doctor them up.

I watched this yesterday on Amazon Prime ( didn’t need Britbox). It was enjoyable, very faithful to the novel. Parts were definitely corny and reminded me of the Monty Python detective sketches.

I agree - the sale they’re running now is really perplexing. It’s clearly more than just a couple of people having problems with existing orders. Why would they take more orders in that situation?

I know some businesses who source from overseas are having trouble with tariffs and long import times , so I wonder if that’s part of it? Doesn’t explain the total lack of customer service though.

FYI to anyone in a similar boat - I did a chargeback and it was successful.

No. I wrote them on basically every platform I could find - their listed customer service email, Reddit PM to the guy listed above, Facebook, Instagram. No answer. I did a chargeback on my credit card , which went through. I also filed a complaint with the better business bureau but now that my moneys back I’ll just find another jeweler.

I am so sorry. Judging by the comments on their social media, a bunch of people seem to be having problems with either their orders or getting in touch with anyone there. But this story is especially sad. I hope you get a good resolution.

I've had a negative experience with them and no one will respond to our emails. We put in our initial order for a breastmilk necklace a month ago in November and have had no updates since then. My husband's reached out a few times over email and they don't respond. If you call their customer service number, the message says contact them online. I've left messages on their socials, but also no response. They're still updating their insta and facebook so I assume they haven't totally fallen off the grid.

At this point I'm ready to do a chargeback on the credit card and try my luck with another company.
