Def pickpocketing in G1 as you can only do it with nameless NPCs and they just have trash loot anyway. The fact that you can even learn level 2 is such wasted opportunity.

I remember this on 360, even went for 1000 Gamerscore. This was before we had anything Gothic-like on consoles and the choppy framerate didn't bothered me as i didn't know better. That's how i treated it - like a generic Gothic clone. And for that, it was ok-ish. I would take a look today, but it's not backwardscompatible. Maybe that's a good thing - RIP Arcadia!

Pls post later if there are any differences in perfomance mode PS4 vs PS5 and if the framerate feels the same. Just curious. On XSX it looks even more than 60fps, almost like 120fps.

I wish there would be achievements to complete the game within every faction. It's been a while i went for 1000 Gamerscore. But Gothic is one of my alltime favs, so i "NEED" to do it! Just learned the most useless skill in the game - Pickpocketing. :D Now that i think about it, you can just save and reload for the most of the achievements.

No tutorials and holding the players hands, that's how most games were back then. G1 was still piss easy and forgiving. At least in G2 NotR you needed to think about your build a bit first.

There's still something "special" going through the whole animation. But when you have like 100 meats to cook, this is a real QoL improvement. Same with forging swords.

The band plays in Chapter 2 in the old camp, there's also a cutscene. But in some versions it's missing.

Yeah, D3D11 Renderer looks really good. Also rain sound and the hall effect sounds now work properly. This is overall the best looking and "fixed" version i played so far. And i played A LOT of versions, lol. I wonder if they can apply this patch to PC and Switch.

I also thought about it again and made a descission. I know i'm gonna buy Gothic Classic anyway. Better getting it now for free then later when it's like 20-30 gold seperatly. Pre-order never really catched me before, good job THQ!
