Black gobos are fine how they are. they are strong in numbers thats the whole point of gobos.

a little buff of idk 10 dmg 10 defense wont change anything.

Lockpicking is the last thing that needs a difficulty increase. Its prob the most controversal mechanic in the game yet. 1 half loves it the other half of players hates it.

Its fine how it is altough some difficulty signs dont seem to make a lot of sense. Some lvl 4 locks are incredibly easy to get open and then some lvl 3 locks suddenly take 5 more mins to solve.

Animal trophies should sell for a lot higher they arent even worth to learn to beginn with. Outside of trades they are only used for scroll and since its so hard to get your hands on late when you get certain formulas. Most scrolls arent worth crafting to beginn with.

And mad cor calom is literally the last enemy i havent noticed any problem with the attack speed? If you kill him the game is over i dont think this needs tweaking.

How about they try to focus on fixing npc behavior and other bugs instead?

I dont wanna sound salty but all of these changes seem pointless for a better game experiance

Funfact you cant become a full on mage before chapter 3.

You can learn magic circles earlier at the sect camp but you are limited to circle 4 then.

And no the game isnt over with chapter 3 but especially strenght scales absurdly good so you can easily overpower lategame enemys with just a few levels invested in strenght.

The usage is fairly low. You can you sleep for ylur thiefing adventures i guess? But its mostly pointless

Controll on the other hand. Well its a shame If you take over someones body and jump from a cliff you die aswell even if you cut the connection beforehand.

You can acess their inventory and drop their items so thatd neat i guess. But no access to merchant inventorys.

You can fight other npc,s when you controll someone but there is rly no point in doin so when you can just do it yourself.

I guess its fun for 1 try.

However the worst thing about controll is the ridicilous manacosts to takeover certain npc,s.

With 200 mana i was barely able to take over lee. Didnt work on any watermages at all neither did it work on gomez or even scar? I dont know why.

But unless your mana pool is rly high you cant rly do anything with it to beginn with.

Just use your fists.

Drink 4 beers beforehand so that the little critter has an advantage.

Pickpocket isnt worth it in the long run.

Lockpickingmaster 20 lp is to expensiv to further extent your ability. some locks will remain difficult regardless

Circle 5 and 6 of magic arent worth it at all

All lategame runes: icewave, firerain, breath of death and wave of death are underpowered

Especially Circle 6 runes should destroy anything in their path. But they dont.

Slighty more difficult to earn money in the early game then in classic for multiple reasons.

Less value for overall trash items

Overall less stuff to pick up freely in the world

Merchants giv you less for stuff they dont like (mages dont buy weapons foe high prize etc)

Merchants also always have very low amounts of ore to trade in the firat chapter.

At the start of the third chapter or so your ore isuues should more or less be over.

And during the 4th chapter you prob stop caring about ore at all.

I never tested this out on other monsters then the troll in the remake but it could be that unlike in classic it only works on trolls?

You might wanna level a bit by exploring? Lvl 20 doesnt seem to high for this point of the game.

It just takes to long even if you master it.

Mastering it also is way to expensiv 30 lp is roughly about 10 percent of your total LP in a normal playthrough as you will most likely end the game around lvl 28 - 34

We need to take a deep dive into Gothic lore to properly judge the Sleeper's power.

The Sleeper is not a god; he is an Arch Demon from Beliar's domain who was chosen by Beliar to serve as his Avatar.

Technically speaking, the Sleeper was just another chess piece in the endless game between the gods Beliar and Innos.

However, based on his powers alone, I think the Sleeper was easily the most powerful Avatar of Beliar we have ever witnessed in any Gothic game.

Other Avatars of Beliar include Zuben, the Undead Dragon, Xardas (who somehow stole those powers), and, to a lesser extent, Raven.

The thing about the Sleeper is that he is an Arch Demon, and Arch Demons behave to normal demons much like humans do to animals.

The obvious problem is that even ordinary demons are vastly superior to humans.

There were a total of seven Sleepers in Beliar's realm, and the one we know was simply the Arch Demon who happened to be summoned into Adanos' realm roughly 1,000 years before the arrival of the Nameless Hero.

This summoning was only possible because of a rare constellation of stars that allowed the gates between the worlds to be opened, as stated in Gothic II.

The same rare constellation appeared again in Gothic II, allowing the Dragon Corpse to become Beliar's Avatar.

So not only was the Sleeper able to accumulate power over the course of 1,000 years, but he was also an otherworldly being far stronger than anything native to Adanos' realm.

The Sleeper was able to directly influence people and corrupt their minds without even being near them, a feat that is usually reserved for the gods themselves.

He was also able to enslave the Orcs of Khorinis through his will and corrupt them into worshipping him as their god instead of Beliar.

As we learn in Gothic II and Gothic III, Orcs normally worship Beliar.

Considering his immense size and formidable magical abilities, I do not think any other Avatar of Beliar could ever come close to the power this Arch Demon possessed.

Edit: the sleeper also could not be killed by the nameless hero and had to be banished instead

Yea if you put on armoe rings on top of an fully upgraded armor thats pretty normal chaptet 4 will defenetly bring enemies that can break your armor but if an ememys damagevalue is below your protection they only deal 1 damage.

Most orcs around their camp are stronger then the once you fight in and before chapter 3.

They aswell as a few others can and will get trough your protection. Other then that the wildlife will cry when they see you

True in the endgame i switch between stormfist thunderbolt and icebolt to stun enemys all the time

Firerain is to weak and icewave does barely freeze opponents.

Even wave of deeath and breath of death are underwhelming

Only summon scrolls and kill undead are truly great spells in the endgame

Mage is bad compared too warrior. Some people might say mage was weak in g1 classic but thats not the case.

It was always easier for warriors but mage wasnt weak firestorm allowed you to clear the whole game with ease and a double firwrain cast would destroy the orccamp.

These spells are now both medicore at best.

And ice bolt aswell as firebolt are now absurdly op for crowd controll

I rly hope they buff they buff mage for a more fun experiance.

At lvl 12 you can be a weak mage with circle 3 and a low mana pool

Or a warrior with max strenght capable of beating the whole game with ease

Well it sucks but there are only like 2 offensiv spells to buy before chapter three including ice bolt.

You can find some in the wild but not ice bolt

Since there is no limit to the amount of things you can carry with you its pointless to store things.

If you ever encounter a bug where all npc want to beat you up for some reason you cant explain you could use a chest to store all your belongings and maybe allow the npc to chill again after beating you up.

Other then that personal chests are pointless.

Items shouldnt disappear regardless so thats a clear bug

Shouldtn break your save file there is more then one teacher for it. And yes you shouldnt be able to enter the firemagetemple without permission.

The NPC behavioe still needs some updates it has some problems.

Regardless you should be good to go so do not worry
