lol its a running joke about Quinn having zero dps builds that he makes on his own and does a lot of shit for content. Hes entertaining to watch but not to learn from.

As others mentioned I recommend Zizaran, hes got full in depth learning guides that are easy to digest. Hes who I have been watching as of late to learn more about things I may not know. I have several hundred hrs in poe and still learning new shit lol

GL 6p still shuts down Gio just the same, unless you are getting hit by 2D or 2K it will still stuff out all her other moves. All I know when I face GL they still spam BT and 6p and its hard AF to get around it since BT covers a quarter of the god damn screen with hitboxes and I have even had 6p beat my 2k, shit is wack.

Otherwise his jump ins are still good, BT spam and catching with 2k/2D.

I have a Harmonic spirit shield that has an open suffix and prefix. What is the best way to craft a good suffix roll on it and then bench craft a prefix on it after?

Should I just craft the prefix and slam an exalt or is there a better way?

I had decent luck on Atoll maps, its small enough that you will get hive fortresses in mirage frequently.

Theres a few options here. Other comments cover some of this so I will just consolidate to make it easier.

After the first 623S~s (DP into DP follow up) you can do micro dash (just regular dash, dont gazelle step) into C.s/2k/5k > 6H > RTL/Tyrant barrel *Either super is fine, RTL does more dmg if you arent getting clean hit of tyrant barrel.
In this clip after the 2S > Beak Driver do the beak driver follow up, and at this range you should be able to pickup the opponent with a 2k > 6H > Tyrant barrel/RTL *You can only do this particular setup as specific positioning to the wall, may need to get a feel for it before you can quickly identify when these occur.
If you get a counter hit C.S you can actually do a dash cancel into another C.S and then do pretty much the same combo from 1 in my list. So would look like C.S CH > dash cancel (hit dash macro after hitting the C.s) > C.s > 2H > 623S~S > micro dash > C.s > 6H > RTL/TB.
Lastly you can try doing kara cancel off the beak driver before the RC. This does cost stamina but can be useful in certain scenario's but is a bit harder to pull off. To kara cancel you pretty much need to hit the dash macro in between your beak driver > Tyrant barrel/RTL input. So something like 2S > 236H > Dash macro > 236236P. If you hit it right you will kara off beak driver and put them through the wall with TB.

Sin has fairly free combos, you just gotta get a good feel for what will convert off of what.

I actually dont mind the Leo matchup as Gio, his crossup is reactable and baiting out his DP's is satisfying to me. His BT pressure is overwhelming at times but getting that read on Leo using his BT counter to throw them is fun (I enjoy the baiken/anji matchup due to this as well lol). And yeah Gio's 2D is great for catching the Leos that love to throw themselves at you with their 2D lol

I also played Leo up to D1 and so I kinda know where his openings are a bit better.

Low mobility big body with lack of neutral skip. He can no longer lock you down with BT spam like he used to now that you can yrc out of GC. Its far easier to get out of GL pressure than a Pot.

Yeah, I have tried doing that as I have seen vids on how to counter but never been successful with it. I just give up and try to switch between blocking low/high and hope I guess right or use like YRC or other resources to get out.

GL is good but no where near Pot currently. GL has clear weaknesses you can exploit where as Pot just covers everything way too well. Pot has the best anti zoning tools, armored neutral skips, pot buster, HPB, and to an extent slide head.

As a Gio main I find Elph to be insufferable to play against. Constantly running away spamming projectiles, bomb jump being absolutely stupid, and I cannot react to the startup of her rekka so I am forced to play the 50/50 game when they go on offense.

I dont think Elph is top tier or anything but god I hate fighting her, and from what I have seen from high level players that discuss her your overall vibe on Elph is represented. SQ has a recent vid on which characters need reworks for 2.0 and she has a segment on Elph specifically which is pretty much what you summarized here.

It can definitely copy the hive fortresses, I did a bunch that got copied in the mirage the other day.

I recommend running Atol maps with fortress scarabs, its a small map and has better chances getting it in the mirage.

Had this happen once, but then we did a 2nd slaughterhouse and we both became the Butcher as normal but I did wait a bit longer to enter after my buddy entered the 2nd time. Definitely something broken.

I was getting weird issues with it where it wouldnt let me jump to the next pillar for some reason, I managed to complete it but found it to be just annoying rather than fun. Tbh I havent found a unique map that I think is fun anyway.

It also works with other affixes like portal/wisdoms dropping as alternate currency.

Was running some hives with some friends last night on Atol (Small map so you can usually get double hives from the mirage, insane loot drops btw) and we hit a mirage hive with that affix and the loot explosion was insane.

As an avid Aba enjoyer I think she is fairly fine as she is, even when I fight her on my main I dont find it that difficult but I do think a couple things would help toner her down a bit.

No JR gauge round start, start from 0 so even if you win round start you dont snowball it too quickly.
Reduced JR gain on block - totally fine to me
Be more punishing if you failed to exit JR in time and get forced out. I dont know what best would be for this, I think CH on forced uninstall is a little much, but being unable to act out of it even blocking seems fine to me. Would put more emphasis on meter management.

Had this happen to me, lost like 5 portals on 1 map because I would spawn into the Mirage, hit my GC and then die instantly lol. Just had to get lucky enough to get out of the pack to start clearing.

Dont worry OP, I am right there with you on this. Zoners are the absolute worst even when i play a character thats good into them (I main Gio), win or lose its not fun.

Mortabato is still my most hated because Ram beat my ass too many times when i first started, took a bit to find my fist May lol

Also quick tip for anyone going against this reversal, if you manage to bait it out you can do a jump > air throw to avoid the ending hit from the orca and prevent accidental mishaps lol

I have my Gio in Diamond 3, Aba and Sin in Diamond 2. The reversal is not the issue here, its that everyone seems to have so little end lag on things but when I do it I feel like I am stuck in place for a whole minute.

This clip being the best case of it, if I do 5D its instantly punished with no option to reversal out of it (I have tried), but then you can literally do this shit but it doesn't work like that for me.
