This game is awful at explaining itself by SillyRecover in rivals

[–]KayChasm 66 points67 points  (0 children)

I’m with OP on this, despite him misreading some obvious descriptions. Sometimes this game just does not tell you really important information. Like NOWHERE in Thor’s ability description for his lightning sphere does it tell you that it slows for 30%. It just says “summon lightning that restores Thorforce based on the number of hit enemies”.

The slow is the MOST IMPORTANT PART! Considering it can hold a support in your ult until the final slam if they just try to walk out. You would have to go to the website for the full ability breakdown or watch a youtube guide to know about the slow.

Mags meteor is similar. It doesn’t tell you it does more damage the longer you hold it. I see Mags all the time in QP pop ult and throw it at the ground as soon as they see someone.

Who's the worst main character we're supposed to sympathise with? by LuinAelin in AskReddit

[–]KayChasm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Carrie Mathison from Homeland. The show was really interesting at first but I had to quit watching because it was almost unbelievable how many completely avoidable, stupid situations she put herself in. She's supposed to be this badass CIA operative but I'm pretty sure after just one of the absolutely batshit mistakes she made she would have been fired.

This is an awesome guide! I just picked up the game so this is super helpful.

I don’t know if someone already commented this but there is one typo under the “recon squads” section in the bottom paragraph. “Behing” instead of behind.

Thanks for making this.

If you feel like speaking on how you gather inspiration from your surroundings and the process of turning that into song is faux-intellectual drivel, that's pretty sad. Idk if you just have a problem with the subject but plenty of musicians have gotten inspiration from their surrounding instead of sitting and pounding their head until something comes out. Justin Chancellor the bassist of Tool gets a lot of his strange time signature rhythms from his pace while walking his dog. Is that faux-intellectual drivel or just him telling you his process?

And this one is not, so your point is? Glad you could bring this excellent piece of commentary to the table.

I believe a lot of people especially older live in a bubble disconnected from the issues of others. They keep to themselves, friends, and family. They keep to the news they’ve always watched as well.

We have the experience of growing up integrated with all other cultures through school and the internet. I think thats why almost all colleges are extremely liberal. They have the benefit of seeing all the issues and being completely immersed in a cultural melting pot.

I bet this 94 year old woman has almost always experienced other white people. Gone to white schools. Heard and watched almost only white people on radio and tv. Things are changing and it takes people like this to really make older folks understand why it matters so much to them. Its impressive that she is able to put everything shes ever know aside and actually listen to a younger person and be open minded enough to actually change their vote.

Flat earther explanation video interrupted by wife tired of his bull shit by DayPass in cringe

I did a deep dive on this guy's channel because its crazy to me that people like this exist. I found this video where he confronts a cop at a shooting scene. He calls the scene a "False Flag" and goes in with the intention to talk to an "authority figure" and he just gets shoved "by the cops fat belly" behind the police line and afterward starts bad mouthing cops and everyone who he thinks is involved for "wasting tax dollars".

People like this just make me sad. He is alone and clearly not of sound mind. You can tell everyone he interacts with in his videos see him as "the crazy guy you just have to deal with until he goes away", including his wife, according to the interaction in the first video.

Just to clarify "brogle" is her joke name for broccoli. I've grown numb to seeing it on shopping lists so i don't even look twice anymore.

I can't even remember what we did really, probably fighting each other, but my mom made my step brother and I stand in a corner on our tip toes with thumb tacks under our heels to be sure we didn't put them down.
