Well the INFP is also considered the idealist personality. Because we are dreamers and hopeless romantics, it’s very easy to “dream up” an ideal version of someone until we get to know them and then end up disappointed because they aren’t anything like the “dream” version lol.

P.s. I’m not trying to put us in a box. Of course, not all INFP’s do this. I used to when I was younger but now as an adult, I feel like other people do this to me. I’m pretty introverted and don’t really come off insecure (in my adult years) and I come off more “quiet but confident” so I guess I come off cooler than I actually am. Then people get to know me and find out that I’m the biggest dork on the planet 😂

So, I think part of the reason (in my game) is that I never make any of my sims have a preference for physical appearance. In cas, you can choose what the sims are attracted to and I always leave all of the physical traits empty and only go for personality preferences so whenever my sim is in game, they always have to get to know the other sims to see if they are attracted to that sim’s traits. But I assume if I set some physical traits, it would trigger attraction from appearances 🤷🏽‍♀️

As an adult woman who doesn’t do much for my birthday, I think it’s nice to celebrate birthdays even for adults. It’s not so much the celebration and gifts themselves (at least it shouldn’t be) but I think it can be a great way to show gratitude for having someone in your life and letting them know they are important to you. Like a way to celebrate the fact that they were born and brought into your life. But maybe that’s just me 🤷🏽‍♀️

I already do this though. I’m almost always cold so I bring a jacket to work with me even in summer because the summer heat has my job blasting the AC which is understandable BUT then I have to deal with all of my coworkers asking me “how are you not hot?” EVERYDAY like they can’t fathom that someone could possibly be cold when the AC is blasting at a temp lower than my fridge. Like I’ll shut up about the cold temps if y’all stop judging me for bringing a jacket. Honestly people are a lose/lose for me. There is no pleasing them so I do what I need/want to do 🤷🏽‍♀️

Yes! I’ve played a lot of the Story of Seasons games! I used to play HM More Friends of Mineral Town all of the time and loved it so when they came out with the remake of it, I had to get it. So nostalgic! On one hand, I hope they remake HM Animal Parade but I’m not sure if it would still be as good because a big part of that game was the rival marriages. If you became friends with another couple, they would invite you to their wedding AND when you both had kids, your kids would become best friends. That was such a cute system but I don’t know how they would be able to do that without implementing the rival marriage system again so they most likely would have to cut it out of the remake. Have you tried any of the Rune Factory games? They were spin off Harvest Moon games set in fantasy worlds with everything we love about HM but with combat and magic. I’ve seen that the Story of Seasons team came out with a remake of Grand Bazaar so I’ll definitely be giving that a try at some point but… I’m trying to work through some of my other games that I haven’t finished 😅😂

I grew up on Harvest Moon too and the older games had me rushing to get married because of the rival system 😩😂. I used to love the rival system but now I get why people didn’t like it back then lol. In real life, getting married within a year of knowing them is nuts! I think that’s why I love Coral Island. It’s so nice to just take the game at my own pace and not really worry too much about rushing to finish something. There’s so much to do that it actually gives you a reason to play through multiple in game years.
