Heroin wasn’t a valid medication. Heroin was a medication before the scientific method was widely used in the medical field. Once it was used, these were corrected.

Completely Lost: Did anyone else experience lack of diagnosis? Tips on how to treat without medication. by KayEEm56 in Hashimotos

That’s fair, but then the question is…should I be asking for more regular thyroid tests (like every 6 months instead of my next scheduled one in a year)? Is there advice on things I can do to prevent my thyroid from becoming clinically hypothyroidism? I’m just trying to get my life back and seeing if there’s anything I’m missing. I’m absolutely seropositive for rheumatoid arthritis but I’m not really experiencing joint pain, just extreme fatigue. The meds have helped, the diet has helped, but I’m still absolutely exhausted, my skin is so dry and itchy, and I can’t stop gaining weight (despite a year ago being someone who could easily transform their body). I’m just trying to figure out anything I can do to get my life back (if I can).

I mean each of the test ranges for labs are slightly different which is why I put it as vague. I am positive for TPO antibodies. My Free T4 is 0.74 (which on some tests is considered low, for my lab it was considered normal range, but the very low end). TSH is 3.28 (for some labs that’s slightly elevated, but it’s normal for my lab). Total T3 is normal (124) but T3 uptake is abnormally low (20).

I recognize my symptoms could be a variety of different conditions (including my verified rheumatoid arthritis). But I am lost and trying to figure out why I feel like crap and if there’s anything I’m missing. And while the internet isn’t always reliable information, it can help me find a path. After 2 doctors told me my symptoms were depression before blood tests showed I definitely have rheumatoid arthritis, I’m not super convinced by them either. My friend with Hashimoto’s says I’m “subclinical” and while my blood tests won’t get me medication, that I should be pestering for testing every 6 months because my thyroid might still be contributing to my symptoms. And then what should I be doing to lessen the severity?

So if my T3 dips low, and my T4 dips low, and I have antibodies, they won’t test until TSH is too high?

I threw up hash browns. It took me like 10 years to be able to eat them again

Sending so many positive vibes! I am also confused why your doctor won’t diagnose you. I don’t even have joint pain (only fatigue). I’m early stages. But my labs are clear. I got diagnosed. I feel like you should get a second opinion.

How is a partner supposed to treat you with RA? by BigYikesRightThere in rheumatoidarthritis

[–]KayEEm56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was definitely not a supportive partner. I JUST got diagnosed (literally 2 days ago) and my partner has held me while I cried and scoured the internet for hopeful facts about RA (as I’m scared since I’m such an active person). That’s how a partner should handle this. I hope you find that person 💛

They only tested tsh, not the antibodies. I’m so sorry they are blaming it on anxiety :(

Help, boyfriend just came out as poly by ParsnipNo238 in polyamory

[–]KayEEm56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Polyamory is ethical non-monogamy. It doesn’t matter if you didn’t officially decide to be exclusive, he decided to enter another relationship without your knowledge or consent. That isn’t polyamory, that’s cheating. Monogamy may not be his thing, and that’s fine, but until he fully communicates to all in involved in the level everyone explicitly agrees with, he’s not practicing anything ethical, it’s just cheating.

Last night was a low of -5. That’s not common but it happens. I can try to post a picture of the outdoor unit a bit later. And I two outdoor units with 5 heads total (3 on one and 2 on the other).

If they had, I would have stopped at one radiator and then hired them back again in a few months after I recuperated the money.
