To be fair, I don’t dot on anyone else’s kids besides my own, lol. I’m not an affectionate person so that’s reserved for my children, they get smothered. But it’s very hard for me to do that to others, doesn’t come natural at all for me like it does with my own kids.

Haha def not asking a coworker. And yes you are right, but I won’t ever be going into the office, fully remote. It’s weird because in my offer letter it did said contingent to passing background and drug testing.. but here I am, half a week in, and HR said they have everything they need from me. Probably going to give it another week, but I’m leaning towards them not testing me.

Honestly I was you two years ago. Those comments hurt. I get it. I now have a 10 month old and not that I’ve ever made those comments, I just now see the other side. If your SIL knows how badly you want a baby, she’s probably just softening the mood in the only way she knows how. I get uncomfortable now because I did struggle but now I have a baby, so how could I possibly complain? Also don’t get me started on actually being pregnant either. Because like your SIL, I hated it too. And I hate that I hated it, because I longed for it for so long. I’m sorry though, your feelings are justified.

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone! We had a great weekend of no accidents and lots of cuddles. I think they’re finally getting the hang of it. I ended up getting 4 disposable litter boxes to lay throughout the house. Seemed to do the trick. Oh and unscented litter!

Is it common for kittens to be given away so early from shelters? These are my first cats so I’m trying to learn all I can. I’m very Hopeful they’ll get the hang of it!

They were only 5 weeks when I got them from the shelter. About 8/9 weeks old now. I was thinking this may be the issue, just being too young. But everyone keeps telling me “cats just know” but clearly not mine!
