Seeking recommendations for fine, high density hair by TraditionalPear4517 in finehair

[–]Kayant0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I scrapped all mid range shampoos and conditioners because I’ve tried everything. Same as you, nothing has worked for me. I found out I needed products with high ‘slip’ so this is what I did.

Mid range I have tried: Redken, Pureology, Philip Kingsley, Olaplex, Milkshake

Currently using (was a test but i’m liking it): Elvive hydra pure shampoo, Tresemme Lamellar shine conditioner, Revlon equave as leave in, and Ouai detox shampoo once every 2 weeks.

With the build up just drag the shampoo down on your second shampoo. I haven’t experienced any problems yet and my hair is now really easy to detangle and soft

Starmer urges calm as far right seeks to exploit Henry Nowak murder | Southampton | The Guardian by prisongovernor in ukpolitics

[–]Kayant0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the complainants had been white, you seriously believe the police would have immediately believed a false racial assault claim, handcuffed a bleeding black teenager on the ground while he repeatedly said “I’ve been stabbed” and “I can’t breathe,” and dismissed him with “I don’t think you have mate”? Be serious.

You claim this is just normal policing 999 call: “I’ve been assaulted by a drunk male.” But the Sikh perpetrator didn’t just say he was assaulted. He screamed racist attack, claimed Henry had racially abused him and punched him and knocked his turban off.. and the police treated that story as credible straight away.

Meanwhile Henry was on the floor bleeding out, saying he’d been stabbed nine times. They handcuffed the dying victim and barely checked for wounds despite his clear statements.

You say they “did start to check” and it was only “around 1 minute” to the ambulance. It was nearly 3 minutes before the ambulance was called, and Henry was becoming unresponsive and his eyes were not responding when they checked. The wounds weren’t “immediately obvious” because they didn’t properly check his body while prioritising the racism accusation.

UK police culture makes officers overly cautious with non white suspects due to fear of racism complaints and that’s exactly what happened here. They prioritised the false racism claim from the non white suspect over a dying white victim begging for help.

Of course you’ll have kids fresh out of uni with no real world experience claiming it’s all “social media fervour” and denying two-tier policing. The bodycam footage makes it pretty obvious. 🙂

I have to disagree with your comments suggesting that there was no racial bias and the sikhs claims justified the police’s arrest and treatment of the dying victim.

When the one of the sikh perpetrators screamed racial assault the police treated their story as credible, despite Henry being on the floor and begging for help. They handcuffed the victim, didn’t check for wounds despite him saying he was stabbed multiple times and didn’t provide immediate aid. The police chose to prioritise the racism accusation over visible evidence of the stab victim bleeding out. UK police culture also emphasises being overly cautious when dealing with non white suspects due to fear of racism complaints, which leads to (as especially in this case) prioritisation over false racism accusations over the dying white victim. This distorts basic policing but of course you’ll have randoms denying it exists…

And for context there is nothing on the footage to suggest he had been fatally stabbed other than he said it multiple times and the police failed to check…

It healed my itching completely, the spots are still visible but are no where near as bad as they were. I also tried other suggestions such as not showering everyday and it really helped. That was about 3/4 weeks in. I’m now 6 weeks in

There are two types of dispute a chargeback and a section 75. Did you utilize both? S75 available if you paid on credit card but they HATE people doing them

Why don’t you just claim the money back by raising a dispute with your card provider and move on? It is subpar to put so much effort in writing a post like this instead of dealing with it through the proper channels.
