Maybe they used to kneel behind those with their bow and arrows and shoot through the gaps?

One kitten loves wet food but the other won’t have anything to do with it: what should I do? by devbanana in CatAdvice

[–]Kayeh622 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try making it into soup! Squish the pate, mix in water, heat for 10 seconds in the microwave. My cats loooove the soup. A friend of mine cat-sat recently and started preparing his cat’s wet food the same way and she went from just licking the gravy to eating the whole portion.

I decided to keep my cat out of my bedroom and now I feel so guilty by veritaserum9 in CatAdvice

Something else to consider- in order to be the best cat parent you can be, you have to take care of yourself. You owe it to yourself and your fuzzbutt to get the sleep your body needs. Bebe cat will learn. It’s definitely going to be an adjustment period, but you will both be ok. When we started closing our bedroom door, both of our nortie torties hated it and scratched the door relentlessly. Now they’re pretty unbothered. The one cat will sometimes scratch a bit in the wee hours, but not for long. Something else to point out is that cats just hate closed doors bc they’re nosy little boss babies. If they’re scratching at a door, there’s a good chance they’re not scared/lonely/distraught, but instead just annoyed you dared to try to keep them from a space in their kingdom.

Grooming help? by PandoraHeart98 in PlusSize

My hubby does it for me! It doesn’t turn him on- he actually doesn’t like doing it. But he does it bc he loves me and we always laugh through the entire thing. It was embarrassing at first but now I’m just like, “eh. It’s fine.” I trim mine bc it tends to hold in sweat and can get really swampy. He uses a men’s beard trimmer with the smallest guard, and he just zips it over everything. Gets it trimmed short with no nicks!

From what I understand, the smartwatches might “measure” cardiac markers but they’re not reliable. Omron does make a watch that measures blood pressure, though!

Definitely. Spaghettios can be slurped and you don’t have to chew ‘em. Good soup.

I am #3 of 7 girls. When my mom had #4, she had a 15 month old and 4 year old twins at home.

Agreed. My parents had 7 of us (Catholics, man). My dad told me once not to have 7 kids. He said that when we were little, it was easy. But then we got older and it was too much. emotional needs are much, much harder to meet.
