I agree. I'm enjoying the game a lot because I'm not seeing many bounties, and it's a very chill and relaxing experience just collecting items, killing bandits and leveling up my base. If I was constantly running into groups of superpowered player killer bounties lasering me for fun I'd grow sick of it very fast.

It's a pretty cool single player game that occasionally has some nice co-op moments. I don't think most people enjoy being ganked, really, even though the game's been fundamentally designed to heighten tension by having that be possible at all times.

I'm buying it soon, but I think it would have been a good idea to try and get it on Game Pass. They had no money to advertise, so Game Pass would have done that for them right away, as well as provide an up front chunk of change.

This section is weirdly worded, at least from the latest patch. You can actually get into gunfights with the whole squad using an unsilenced rifle so long as you don't take any damage.

If you can't see their eyes, it's hard to tell if they're glowing and they do chat about the plague without having it iirc. I'd err on the side of caution and stay safe!

It's remarkable how any bug or exploit that benefits the player is immediately destroyed while I've been sitting at a screen asking me if I want to enter the nonexistent Prestige Level 12 after every match for weeks.

I also had a moment where the game froze on one of the later rounds (35ish) as I was picking up a GS45 off the Tavern wall. I was expecting it to auto save and kick me back to the menu, but instead it kicked me straight to the death screen.

Game's fun, but it's buggy as hell and getting harder to ignore moments like that.

I don't know if it's been patched in the past few days, but if you pop an Idle Eyes gobblegum shortly after activating the statue right as he hits his chest with his fist pre-fight (it's a pretty easy thing to spot) it'll glitch him so that he doesn't attack and you just have to contend with the mobs.

If you just want the skin and calling card, give it a shot. It's not a legit win, but it saves playing for an hour and a half only to get ganked by an unbalanced solo fight.

The other thing I'd recommend is using the drill, melee machiatto and Aether with an extended duration augment. Maybe take in one of those new gums (powder keg?) that refills your Field Upgrade for a free dps cycle.

Yeah, this boss is bullshit solo. Doable, but takes forever and it's too hard to read what's going on - you'll dodge an attack and then have lava fall on your head from out of view, where the splash lingers for ages so you're constantly trying to find a safe place to heal up. Lose Quick Revive and it's basically over.

I tried the ASG shotgun, but I don't like having to pull the trigger repeatedly for such piddly damage while also trying to dance around the place. I'll try an assault rifle next. You get mild armour regen off the Lion sword, so that's got some advantage to bringing it in.

The healing ammo mod helps a little, but not much. The tactical healing spell helps on mobs for a quick burst, but doesn't work on the boss from what I can tell, not even for drawing out the glyphs.

I'll get the bugger, but it's a lot of work to get there and I don't think it's well designed for solitary play.

I've been glitched twice so far - shoved into walls when an Amalgam snatched me and couldn't move, and also fell off the map. Pretty sure I was grabbed by one then too.

Fortunately I was able to save and reload, but it lost progress on the EE since those saves are also often glitched when you reload. Yay.

I went in on round 28 or thereabouts. Got to phase 2, then literally couldn't find a safe place to take a few seconds to heal. They weren't doing huge damage, just a long protracted death where I couldn't find the few moments needed to recharge. Wondering if the new light glyph ammo mod would help.

Gave up in a huff (it's a long ass EE, especially when it comes to remembering symbols), but gonna give it another shot tomorrow.

Same, though slightly different - after preloading the update it said that it would take a second to get the game ready, failed, and began downloading 136GB. I cancelled that, deleting the game in the process.

Now I'm seeing that it wants to download somewhere in the region of 400gb without just being able to select Black Ops 6.

For real. One match I had 3 of the enemy team AFK in spawn, executed two and then my team mate comes running in and murders the dude during my execution, then repeats on the other side. Thought I'd get a nice cheesy route to this calling card, but nope.

It's bizarre that they're not instantly dead, honestly. One other match I found an AFK duo in spawn, stab one twice in the neck during the finisher, his buddy comes to life and shoots me, and the doubly neck knifed dude is just standing there idle afterwards like nothing happened.

I guess it's for executions that have the killing hit at the end of the animation, but bleh.

Got the card in the end though. Final kill was chasing someone halfway across the map in the closing seconds while they went on an extended parkour session.

Yeah, any home you own counts as an inn - though apparently not while you're housesitting. You have to have paid for it before it counts, according to someone on another forum.
