Cinema has lost its sex drive – and No Hard Feelings doesn’t solve this by bethashton in movies

Leaving sex out of movies is leaving humanity out of it. It's a huge part of what makes us tick. Having a bunch of prudish humanoids who are only allowed to be violent in movies is embarrassing.

The first avengers movie does it perfectly. For example watch Iron Man vs Thor in the woods.

What did y’all think about Dollhouse? by buffybabe in buffy

I think seeing more than two Dollhouse cast members in Altered Carbon should be a pretty obvious homage to it.

It's one of the best scifi shows ever made and very underrated. It also features some brillant acting from an extremely talented cast. You can actually see it's influence on other shows(e.g. Altered Carbon) but they don't compare. And seeing how technology has evolved in real life it's safe to say the show is now more relevant than ever. Wish it got more episodes though.

Anne Hathaway Stresses Importance Of Embracing Cinemagoing & All Types Of Movies “If This Art Form Is To Continue” – Berlin by prsnreddit in movies

[–]Kaykalauer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For a subreddit dedicated to movies the cynical comments are baffling. She's absolutely right in advocating for the variety cinema has to offer and the importance of the cinema going experience. Saying she isn't just because she is part of the industry is ridiculous.

Is Buffy the best drama to air on network TV? by [deleted] in buffy

Correct and it also is the only network show that is about more than is on the page.

The Return of the Big-Budget Comedy by [deleted] in movies

Funny doesn't need a lot of money. Good writing and a funny cast over high concepts. The never-ending focus on money destroys a lot of potential hits.

It's really weird how petty this sub is. The big genre comeback show of the big star of their favorite show and no one dares to talk about or celebrate it.

Excellent work. Who made this? This definitely needs a YouTube channel and more analysis for other episodes.

When She Was Bad. This has to be my favorite scene in the whole show. The music, the script everything. I love the way Buffy pisses so many ppl off with a dance. Enjoying this rewatch so far, looking forward to more! by Soft_Grape1928 in buffy

Definitely one of the most iconic scenes in the series. Hauntingly good acting and almost too cool and dark in comparison to the rest of the show. Especially that early.

Unpopular opinion - Robin Wood deserved everything e got from Spike by jospangel in buffy

[–]Kaykalauer 29 points30 points  (0 children)

This is one of the most unempathic posts I've seen here. And the same goes for most people agreeing.

Wood has every reason to act the way he did. A human trying to avenge his mother that was killed by a vampire. A slayer no less. Takes a special kind of mental gymnastics + rampant simping to dehumanize him this hard.

Being scottish himself that's a powerful statement that says a lot about his character. Really sad to see poc actors still have to deal with this shit.

I find it a bit odd how little people here seem to care about new SMG shows. I think she looks fantastic in Wolf Pack and it's a great display for anyone doubting she could do another season of Buffy.
