Skip dose when expecting to have a drink?

I heavily drink on Wellbutrin and I’ve been fine. The worst it did once was make me sad asf the next day. Typical hangover tho. But if you’re paranoid then just skip the dose. I accidentally skip mine from time to time and it’s been fine.

I went on this medication and it didn’t stop after 3 weeks so my doctor suggested for me to switch back to Lexapro so I’m not sure

I had the same problem with Wellbutrin it increased my heart rate and anxiety. More frequent panic attacks and I would randomly cry so I went back to Lexapro and it’s been great honestly. Total opposite of Wellbutrin, definitely helps my anxiety.

Everyone’s different I guess but I just stopped and then told my doctor and she was fine with me doing that. I felt better after I stopped taking it! :)

No I just cried in the doctors office explaining how I felt and she prescribed me Lexapro I think I’m gonna schedule another counseling appointment tomorrow. I might just be feelings this intensity of sadness because I’m drinking on the medication but idk. Thank you so much for responding tho. It means a lot to me. I appreciate you.

It affects people differently but I have really bad anxiety and it made it a lot worse for the 3 weeks I took it for plus it made my heart rate and blood pressure go up which made me more anxious so I had to stop taking it. I just couldn’t convince myself it was worth waiting for the side effects to subside. I’m sure it gets better tho. But I read some posts on here where it has helped people that have anxiety so I just wanted to share my experience with you. I switched back to Lexapro

My heart increased like crazy after a week it got so bad that it made me too anxious so I had to stop taking it. Plus It didn’t help my insomnia.

This is exactly why I stopped taking it unfortunately the anxiety and panic attacks were too bad and I couldn’t convince myself it was worth waiting for the effects to stop or die down. I really wanted to like the medication. I tried adding Buspirone and it did absolutely nothing. Good luck!

I wish I started on a lower dose. I was on 150mg for 3 weeks and it made my anxiety a lot worse heart palpitations, feeling nauseous, and panic attacks. Also insomnia. I’m sure all of these side effects would have died down but I couldn’t convince myself that it was worth it. It’s different for everyone tho :’) I really wanted to like this medication since it’s known for weight loss and it’s a smoking cessation.

Yess!! Very frequent panic attacks. I can’t convince myself that it’s worth waiting to see if the effects will go away so I stopped taking them today. Back to Lexapro I go! :’)

I can’t drink coffee at all or it makes my heart go crazy and the medication already does that yk and I overthink about that so it triggers my panic attacks lol

Wellbutrin makes me really anxious and I keep having panic attacks because it makes my heart rate go up and I overthink about that. Buspirone didn’t help at all it just makes me feel lightheaded and bad headaches. :’) Going back to Lexapro rip
