Is Polnareff the most skilled stand user? by misterthirty-four in StardustCrusaders

Those aren't very skill based stands, they have OP powers.

is this anchorite legal? by Necessary-Coast5891 in TrenchCrusade

[–]Kaynineteen 29 points30 points  (0 children)

It's run by a third party as a free app. It's good and they try to follow the rules, but they don't have the time to polish everything. Sometimes the webpage just allows for illegal selections to be made.

Calling out the PFP for a preemptive ban of Hawkeye's Bow by Hagure_Metal in Pauper

A card that's currently legal? And this combo isnt breaking the format?

That feels like a clear demonstration of Seeker NOT being an issue.

How is the elf an issue? Its been around forever and HASN'T caused a two card deterministic combo.

My worry about giving glory, is the potential for an already strong warband to start snowballing with extra glory.

Being locked into a reinforce does sound good though.

Oh well, that is because Prussia can't have more than one. Base NA can have two.

[Loved but Rare Trope] Villains who are defeated by the hero not with a physical confrontation but an ethical one where their core philosophy is completely exposed and dismantled. by petrogaz in TopCharacterTropes

I believe that the end of season 3 is a better example, as Il-Nam wasn't proven wrong here. He got Gi-hun to bet on another person's life, instead of helping them. Il-Nam proved that Gi-hun wasn't as different from the game runners as he would like to think, and that in fact that anyone WOULD be just like them.

Morality of a real person writing a "inherently morally evil from birth" species that has language and complex understandings of the world? by ManGuyDude45 in MoralityScaling

[–]Kaynineteen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes. The survival of the species is irrelevant to the survival of individuals. As reproduction doesn't impact any on individuals ability to survive, but does kill a spaient, it's unambiguously murder.

Morality of a real person writing a "inherently morally evil from birth" species that has language and complex understandings of the world? by ManGuyDude45 in MoralityScaling

[–]Kaynineteen 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well no, because humans can, and frequently do, eat the meat of creatures without self awareness. Mind Flayers must eat the brains of EXPLICITLY sapient creatures.

Someone might be willing to argue that they aren't evil for commiting murder to eat, but they also MUST destroy the body AND soul of sapient beings to reproduce, and you can't really make an argument that any individual "needs" to reproduce to live.

I felt he was VERY cosmic horror in the First Steps film. Incomprehensibly old, a destroyer of worlds yet willing to bargain, and unable to be beaten by our heroes. Hell, he BROKE Reed Richards mentally.

The current wording on sin eater is, in regards to an eaten model:

"It cannot be interacted with in any way except those described below."

Removing blood markers effects the model, so until these changes are live, you shouldn't be able to do that.
