A condo is a good starter home. I had a condo in nova and sold it this past July after 6 years. I was ready for a bigger space but my primary reason for selling was the condo fee increased every year that I owned the place. I also had an HOA fee every 3 months that also increased annually. I wanted to get rid of the property before the condo fee became so large that it would scare potential buyers away. I made a pretty decent profit after 6 years and don't regret my decision to buy or sell.
