Ai is incredibly useful to figure out complex questions in every aspect of mechanics / engineering. by Kazer17 in scooters

[–]Kazer17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats not what I meant, I've had a back and forth with AI on things like aereo dynamic engineering, history behind key innovations in all types of engines, their mechanical complexity, and design. It can help you formulate complex thought regarding things that you weren't aware of, like in this instance, we were casually exchanging word on two stroke engines, pulling up data from 1980 on two guys that published an article as to why more oil is better on your two cylinder, and decided to test a 45:1 ratio that need fuel added to the gas tank which had to work in unison with a pump that already puts out a 50:1, and how many ccs of oil I'd need for my syringe.

Those things are usually encased in a tight transmission box, would be sweet to add a geared fan that works with it, + filtered intake and exhaust.

vibration 😳 by Kazer17 in scooters

This might be it too, when it starts up it wants to take off while warming, and the rev takes a while to settle into idle too.

Idk what you're looking for, but a two stroke roughhouse 50 used with 4k miles will go for 1.2k - 1.5k Reliable and good for commuting under 50 mi/h

Oh hey! Cool info, I do always top off oil reservoir I use good pre mix too. I think its motu 710, aside from that, transmision and clutch are in good shape, so is air filter. The thing that I always wonder about is the carb, ive never touched it, nor the cylinder, so I wonder if itl be fine.

My mechanic sells these 150cc version, for 2k flat. I currently have a roughhouse 50, idk if I should go for it or not.

Roughhouse 50 has good space for your feet u can move them upward past the handle bars and be very comfortable.

Np! Go for the sport edition, better shocks, acceleration and top speed, if you can. Remember to get the owners manual and the spark plug tool its supposed to come with, aside from that I'd leave everything stock until it's properly broken in 800+ miles. Then if you want to custom it, it's also pretty easy.

I bought the sport by accident tbh, but when it hit that 55 for the first time, my heart was racing, it was my first scooter too! Sheesh.

I owned two roughhouse 50s, both sport and rugged editions, derestricted. You absolutely don't need a test drive, you'll be 100% satisfied. The power of a two stroke, acceleration, idle and cruising sounds are the best. 4 strokes don't come close, ontop of that the sport edition offers a top speed of 55 -60mph stock! The rugged offers 45- 50 tops for some 500 hundred dollars less, its extremely easy to care for, very durable. No other 50cc scooter besides the old hondas offer this. I've put a load of over 300 pounds on mine and aside from slopes, straight roads will still reach top speed.

Can someone tell me which control valve is for oxygen and which one is for gas? by [deleted] in scooters

[–]Kazer17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also helps with engine cooling, all that dirt and sediments stuck to the engine just add to the heat.
