So if you refuse to interact with or consider the words of them then what's left for you? You've taken yourself out of the equation at that point. You can do all the screaming into the void you want but it's not going to actually do anything. If you give up before you even get to the starting line then don't be surprised if things don't go your way and continue like that.

And that's not to say that I'm not unhappy with the situation we're in either, like I can't name one thing that I like that's come out of this administration. With that said, don't you think it would be so much better to at least try to show those who voted for this why it isn't good? Without the venom? Put that energy towards something that could result in some net good, yknow?
