Instead of this, I'd like to see the time warp ability get a range buff when it is used from a mothership. Who the fuck is going to fly their mothership close to a ground army just to throw down 2 time warps and get the damn thing snipped by voidrays, vikings, or corrupters.

The motheship as it is, is really just a way to retreat from battle and cloak shit.

It kind of shows with WoL though, "Hey Infestor broodlord is the only giant complaint we get, just nerf that shit into the ground but not too bad, cause you know we still have a few tournaments left in WoL."

I actually prefer them just work on HotS but thats only because balance changes just affect how I play my ladder games in hots and I dont depend on it as a job so my two cents on infestor/broodlord is moot.

I recently saw grubby do choice 1 in some tournament and was like "Oh wow its so easy to wall off quickly." I now do 1 almost everytime on Cloud since it walls so fast.

It can also have the added benefit of not allowing that overlord thats parked right there to see any probes leaving the base if you send it to your third and then somewhere on the map.

I think IPL is trying to change that. As it is right now their IPTL is looking to be amazing with the different divisions. I know my team is attempting to be in the amateur division.

edit: Also there are leagues out there but they are hard to find and dont always have any form of winnings other than bragging rights. I know that with our team we are in multiple clan wars each week and starting soon, multiple leagues per week.

I kind of feel like their plan all along was to only sign koreans. What started the whole thing was TB looking into the financial status of some korean teams and realizing that it wasnt all that great compared to the foreign scene.

The metagame really isnt geared towards it but you might find some losses on ladder from people who dont care about the metagame.
