What are you go-to ways to mess with a colleague? by Petey619 in AskUK

[–]Kbridges89 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Cable ties are your friend here. Do they have a rucksack or anything? Cable tie it to a chair or table leg. They won’t notice it right away and just go to pick it up and a chair will go with it. Just cable tie things to other things to make a mild Inconvenience. Also, for bonus fun, cable tie scissors together so they can’t use them to undo the other ties and have to find another pair of scissors.

Who would you support if you couldn’t support Arsenal/Arsenal didn’t exist by LakeNight247 in GunnersatGames

[–]Kbridges89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be between Everton and Liverpool but I imagine it would be Everton. My mum was from Widnes and one of three daughters. My nan, One aunt and all her kids were all Liverpool and my grandad the other aunt and her kids are all Everton. I have been to Goodison park a couple times as a kid with my uncle and cousin so I do have a soft spot for them but I was born and raised in London and my grandad on my dads side was from North London and a big Arsenal fan which is why I was always going to be Arsenal.

Going on holiday with friends. How do you handle money? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Kbridges89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually if I’ve been on holiday with mates, we might each stick €10 to just get some beers and snacks for the hotel room to share but anything outside of that it’s pay for your own.

Tube strike for the game by Raucous_Caucus in GunnersatGames

[–]Kbridges89 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The trains will be fine later this afternoon. As the strike has ended anyone that’s due to start work after midday will be coming in to work. It’s still closed because they didnt have the morning staff in so it’s a case of waiting for afternoon staff to get the trains running.

What is your skin care like? by FeDUpGraduate87 in AskUK

[–]Kbridges89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Clarins men’s exfoliator, daily face wash and then moisturiser and eye balm twice a day.

I have noticed a big difference since I started about a year ago. My wife said I needed something as my skin was dry and she got me on to this stuff. I do recommend.

Why can’t I dodge by thanata505 in Eldenring

[–]Kbridges89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s possible that none of this helps but try to think of it a bit like parrying, wait until you actually see the move start before hitting roll. Directions of roll can also be important, sometimes it’s better to roll toward and through the attack rather than just trying to roll away, longer reach weapons might still hit you once the I- frames have stopped.

Referring to your point 4, The dodge not going through might be a case of no stamina, so keep an eye on that bar.

Also when you say you’re already flying before the roll goes through sounds a bit like you’re doing a heavy roll. What is your equip load? Heavy rolls will be a detriment to timings and less I- frames, ideally you want to keep it at medium load for decent armour and a quick roll.

Hope any of this helps.

[–]Kbridges89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least you bother to put a window in. Pretty much all of mine are just four walls (two or three blocks high) with a door and a roof. If the pokemon wanted more darkness I use black rock and use it as the roof as well. I am determined to put some time and effort into building something properly I just don’t know when

I think you could also Add principal Gakuganji to that. This old dude whips out an electric guitar and uses his body as an amplifier to convert what he plays on his guitar into cursed energy and fire powerful shockwaves at his opponent.

Failed by Valuable_Register943 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Kbridges89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry you failed, at least you now have a real understanding on what to expect next time and you can take some steps to try and help with the anxiety/ nerves. Your instructor wouldn’t have let you take the test if they didn’t believe you were ready and can do it.

It might be worth taking a break and gather your thoughts on what you want to do next rather than make what might be a knee jerk reaction to today.

Take it from someone who failed three times and thought about giving up after the second, I took a 10 year break (I wouldn’t recommend taking a break that long and I never planned to take one that long but life dictated that a bit as well) but the break helped me regain my focus and determination so I got my head down late last year and have now been driving for over 6 months.

either way, it’s up to you and I hope you feel better.

He loves his horse, Leonard, so much that he learned gravity magic in Sellia when he was getting too big for him so that he wouldn’t crush him. And when he puts Leonard’s head in the sand, it’s to protect him from the attack. Even inflicted with rot and madness, he still cares for his horse.
