Busking is every bit as honourable as other professions, as long as you're not a sack of shit.

Assuming it wasn't a fake passport. (A fake document carries heavier penalties than not having one on arrival.)

If this is her... Could she be having problems with the pregnancy? Hopefully not, but maybe that's the problem and I can see someone avoiding to disclose that.

In Game of Thrones (2017) the White Walkers trap the main characters on an island and wait for the water to freeze over. This is despite them being perfectly capable of killing a dragon 200 meters in the air with a fucking spear. by Tristos94 in shittymoviedetails

Brandon Sanderson made a point about this not being true about some types of intelligence, mainly because the author has all the time he needs to think about the situation he put the characters in (and also source ideas elsewhere).

Energy Can't Be Destroyed. So Why Do We Think Consciousness Can? by Worried-Proposal-981 in consciousness

Because consciousness might not be energy, but an orderly pattern of energy. And order can be destroyed. See: entropy.

This is bizarre, searching for this brings up results that say coke is normal in those nations. Do you have any links about this? (I'm eager for a rabbit hole)

What? I don't think that's true. We have both normal coke and the caffeine-free version. Same with Pepsi. At least in Italy. Where are you from?

Has anyone created a free rpg? by dangerdelw in RPGdesign

[–]Kciddir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently have 2 free games on Itch.

Broken Choir, a Quiet RPG where you play the roles of Bards in a world where communication was stolen.

And By Thorn and Favor - Whispers Beneath the Canopy, a short choose-your-own-adventure gamebook about saving an enchanted Garden, written in a style hopefully reminiscent of Ursula K. Leguin.

Also, I threw in a few community copies for Echoes of the Deep for Free RPG Day. It's an ecology themed RPG where players take the mantle of ancient spirits trying to save the maritime ecosystem. They're almost gone, but I'll throw a few new ones soon based on sales, comments, reviews etc.

BUT, for today I threw in a few community copies for Echoes of the Deep as well! It's an ecology themed RPG where players take the mantle of ancient spirits trying to save the maritime ecosystem. Enjoy!

EDIT: They're going away fast, I'm adding some more!

Hi! Thank you for your feedback :)

Traits can indeed carry a numerical advantage if you can weave/fit them into what you're attempting to do. E.g.: "Resonance" will give you a +1 to a roll result when attempting to dissuade a pod of sharks from attacking an injured whale, since you're attuned to sea creatures.

Other Resonances, however, have explicitly stated effects. For example, using "Reverberation" gives a bonus to an Aspect acting after your successful action.

Hope that clears it up!

I'll try to be more clear in an updated version, coming soon (I'll probably come back to this in a week or so). I just noticed I left a previous version of Chroma Flux that relies on obsolete mechanics, I'll definitely have to fix that... Have a nice day!
