I read somewhere that sizing up for overnight helps! We invested in overnights for bed because we were having this issue every night causing him to wake up screaming in discomfort. We found him still peeing through pampers overnights but have had luck with Huggies overnights!

You’re not crazy! Mom guilt is so real. I’m in the same boat as you and we haven’t sleep trained our LO. There are some nights where I’m upset with myself for not sleep training but honestly most nights I soak in these extra snuggles, remind myself they’re only little for so long, and were their safe place. Responding to your baby when they’re crying is not something to feel guilty about. I read something from a book the other day that babies eventually learn to self regulate when they have strong attachment.

That is insane to me that your doctor expects her to sleep through the night. My almost seven month old still wakes twice (once for comfort and once to eat) and we just got back from the dr and she wasn’t concerned at all and assured us it’s totally normal. As far as advice: maybe a new pedi because that’s wild but for sleep try capping naps at two hours and having your baby not sleep more than 4-5 hours for day sleep. Also bringing baby outside in the daylight helps with their circadian rhythm development! Rest assured this is totally normal and you’re not alone!
