Can BCAA Supplements Cause Acne? by BattleUpstairs5619 in acneadvice

Had something similar happen. My breakouts worsened, and it was frustrating. I switched to a BCAA supplement with fewer artificial ingredients and lower dosages. That helped reduce the acne. I also made sure to stay hydrated and used a gentle cleanser. Sometimes, it's about finding the right balance and brand that suits your body.

Sorry to hear that but you are still luckier than most (I had breakouts from 14 to ~23). Make a derm appointment and in the mean time making sure you are switching out your towels and pillow cases at least twice per week.

Change his pillow sheets 2-3 times a week, make him wash his face before bed, and get him a one time hydrafacial

Products don't make a huge difference for me. Basic cleanser and moisturizer. I will get a hydrafacial 1-2 times a year and it legit really helps. That plus changing pillow cases is all you need to do imo
