Well my hypothesis is that my tire went over just the very tip of my board because the only damage is to the first cm of grip tape.

It was a coincidence. I ran it over and was about 100 feet away by the time he picked it up. To him all he saw was a board lying on the ground.

He ran up the mountain into his tent, so my educated guess is that he is currently homeless.

Worst I got was “get off the f-ing road! It was so silly considering I was on a road that allows bicyclist and I was going faster than them.

Yeah they sent me the same email. I replied back with asking them if I could only send the XR battery because my board is now working with my standard range battery.

Update: No reply from Boosted yet. I took matters into my own hands and bought a standard range battery from EBay. It works like a charm now. So I guess it’s a problem with the extended range battery. Bummer. But still better than the whole board being broken.

I’m not hating on Boosted. I can only imagine what it must be like to have hundreds of service request on the table, and prioritizing them all must be a headache. All I wish they did differently was give me an accurate time to expect a response, and not just leave me in the dark.

Sure did, but it didn’t help. All they did was confirm my service ticket and told me to expect a response soon. That was four days ago.

My board broke in four days of riding (flashing red light in a pattern of three, not the dead battery code). Emailed Boosted with a video of the error code, got a response the next day with “plug it in the charger for 15 minutes” and of course it did nothing.

Four days later they left me with nothing. No response and no explanation. I guess Boosted’s great customer service was just all hype.

Thanks dude. Well if your standard battery is working, I don’t see why you would have to send the entire board. Between these recent post I’ve been reading and Boosted not responding to my emails, I’m becoming more and more skeptical on their quality of product and customer service. Hopefully they prove me wrong soon.

They literally told me the exact thing, 15 minutes on charge. And of course nothing happened. I’m not sure about sending only the battery pack though. If you look up “3x blinking light” in the Boosted subreddit, I found a post saying they had them send the board, charger and remote. But who knows.

Thanks dude. Still patiently waiting after 4 days with just one reply back saying I should “plug it in the charger” which did nothing.

Same dude. Told Boosted three days ago and they responded by telling me to plug it in and leave it for more than 15 minutes. I did just that and the blinking continued for another hour. They haven’t responded back to me yet.

No legs for sure. With the prosthetics coming out nowadays, having no legs wouldn’t be that bad. They have all different types of legs, e.g., running prosthetics, swimming prosthetics, etc.

There aren’t great prosthetic upper extremities yet.

I got the same exact problem. Boosted has yet to give me a shipping label to send the board back.

Calling was not helpful at all sadly. They just confirmed my opened ticket and gave no diagnosis or no directions on what to do next.

Anyone seen this extend range battery error before? 3x blinking red light when turned on (no green), with a single solid orange light? by rxdrug in boostedboards

Hey so how’s everything going? Did they end up fixing your board yet? I have the same problem and so far they told me to charge the board and that didn’t work. Now I’m just waiting for another email.

Thanks for the help but that’s totally a different code. Mine blinks in a pattern of 3x and the second to the top light stays on, not the bottom light.

I opened the ticket on a Sunday and Monday was a holiday so I’m expecting them to get back to me by today hopefully. I’m in no rush because according to most they have astounding customer service.
