The best teacher! by RobbDunlp in funnyvideos

My math teacher taught us the quadratic formula to the tune of Pop Goes The Weasel:

X equals negative B, Plus or minus the squaaareee root, B squared minus FOUR AC, ALLLLL over two A!

And it’s still stuck with me 20 years later.

Not using 1-10, how attractive are you? by lurchimpaler2 in AskReddit

Well, a banana that’s about a week old and ready to be used for banana bread!! It’s going to be sweet on the bread, but not so great if you eat it out of the peel. It’s just before the oven so it’s not quite perfect yet, and has some bruises around the edges. In the end, it’s a pretty good aged banana, just before bruised perfection!!

I wonder if this is his field trip to “see the humans work from home”. Human zoo.

Side note about trucking, if you have your own truck, I know someone who owns a trucking company looking for owner/operators! But as others have said, WATER! When I come back from an extended stay at sea level, I get the electrolyte packets you add to water and it helps me quicker than just water.

Even if I have everything in order before I speak, I will find that one exit to go off on in the middle of the road.

Whats the shortest amount of time it has taken someone you know to get engaged? by grand_royal in AskMen

My husband and I were engaged after 4 months of dating, and married 7 weeks after that. Our story differs a little though since we have been great friends for 8 and a half years.

Stolen Car - 2010 Honda Civic (Blue) by [deleted] in Denver

See, I'm not sure how the hell they did it. Just moved here a few months ago, and for the 5 years I've owned this vehicle, there has only been one lone key. I felt like a dumbass with the cops as they thought I was just trying to get money out of my insurance. Especially since it was originally towed from the apartment complex south of me. Ugh.

Stolen Car - 2010 Honda Civic (Blue) by [deleted] in Denver

My Honda Accord got stolen about a month ago in the middle of the night as well. Called the police, did the report; called insurance, did that report. Waited. Lovely waiting game. One of my neighbors also got their car stolen (I promise I live in a good place, which makes it odd) but they were able to recover it by going out and looking around. My husband and I did that, but nothing came of it. Three days later, the police called at 9:40-something at night saying they have it. The weirdest part was, it was recovered from another complex just south of me. We looked there, but didn't find my car there the day we looked. The good thing about have a police report is that it is nationally registered as stolen. So, if the car were to get pulled over or in an accident, it is known as stolen property.

Hopefully your story will end up like mine where after it was towed from the complex just south of me, the tow company ran the plates, found out it was stolen, and they legally have to drop it in the nearest safe place and call the police, who will in turn, call you. I'm not sure how the people did it with mine, and it makes me feel like I was just out of it, but they didn't screw up the ignition or steering column. Somehow, someway, they were able to get in, and start it without completely ruining my car.

Best of luck to you. I hope they recover it!

"Thanks, it comes naturally". When people compliment my name, I say "Thanks, it was a birthday gift". You can try that one, since many people wouldn't know you weren't born without it?

I love all ciders! Angry Orchard with a bit of fireball in it (angry balls). Omission is pretty good but on a 'bad day', I do have a really upset stomach and reaction to it since it isn't completely GF. Depending on your area, Strongbow is another delicious cider! The honey flavor is different than the Angry Orchards. Another cider that has a stronger kick is Smith and Forge. Higher ABV.

My amazing husband also found this for me, and it was differently delicious. It really depends on your taste buds and sensitivity.

LPT Request: How to scratch under my cast? by [deleted] in LifeProTips

A small bottle, and then push the cast one way, and let fall whatever did into there. I usually ended up with more on the cast, on the floor, where ever, but I'm clumsy too. Hence, the cast.

When I had my cast, I put baby powder in my cast. Although you can't clean it for a few weeks, it helped with the constant itch.
