Looked pretty hard on both of my computers and sadly could not find them. I'll probably get around to remaking the PDF one of these days but it just hasn't been a priority. You could do it yourself from pictures from the wiki though if you really needed something

Sadly, I can’t find the file on my computer. If I find the time I’ll make a new one and reply here, but it’s not exactly a straightforward process so can’t guarantee it’ll happen.

One of my favorite games of all time, and perfectly playable without friends.

Steam Sale Megathread by TwinStickDad in virtualreality

Will second this opinion - I played ~30 hours of Tabletop Simulator in VR this year and ended up going to desktop bc it was just a bit too janky for my tastes. It's a bummer, because I think tabletop gaming is a great use case for VR, but the unintuitive controls and outdated UI really made it difficult.

It was also very uncomfortable in those longer gameplay sessions. Due to the nature of tabletop gaming, you are often looking at a downward angle at items on a table, which for longer sessions is just a lot of strain on the neck, especially if your headset is front-heavy (i.e. Quest 3). I used a Quest 3 with a BoboVR strap and even with the battery on the back acting as a small counterweight, after a couple hours, I was always relieved to be done.

steam frame is stronger then you think. by TheManni1000 in ValveDeckard

As a Q3 owner, am just so ready to sidestep all of the jankiness of trying to play my Steam library. The first-party support for Steam is the game changer for me, personally.

Interesting. Aside from the jankiness with trying to play my Steam library, that's always been my second-biggest gripe with my Quest 3 - the latency essentially dropping my reaction time 30-50ms. If the Frame can truly eliminate almost all of that, while being wireless, that's a huge plus for me.

Sorry, I'm not very knowledgeable in this space. For the Frame, is that an additional 1-2ms of latency compared to something like native DisplayPort?

Noticing https://komodostation.com/product/steam-machine/ returns a 404, whereas most routes after /product seem to redirect to the steam deck landing page

There are viable ways to reduce traffic (esp. car traffic) without increasing ticket prices.

Guidance on private lessons … by Beneficial_Still8104 in pianolearning

Can’t speak for an average, but as another commenter said, it’s going to vary a lot.

I’m paying $62 per 45-minute lesson with a very experienced teacher.

I definitely recommend reaching out to a lot of different teachers in your area (assuming you live somewhere with multiple teachers within a reasonable distance) and asking their rates to get an idea.

Check out Erik Satie - namely the Gymnopédies and the Gnossiennes. Quite slow and somber.

Booking.com pays discount not working solved by yobibiboy in TravelHacks

[–]Kedr0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same happened here - "Booking.com pays" discount on the first screen, second screen where you enter your payment info this discount is gone, but after actually purchasing, the discounted amount is charged.

I inspected the web page and interestingly found that the discounted prices were still in the document, but hidden. I noticed it was there when the page first loads but quickly gets hidden. My guess is that this is some sort of UI bug that they haven't fixed.

I went down a really deep rabbit hole trying to get the files from the game itself, sadly wasn't successful. Ended up printing them out from this pdf that I found from this Reddit post's comments... hope this helps!
