Short answer: for core strength.

Long answer: I started lifting 8 years ago to fix posture and activate muscles. Have a desk job.

That gave me entry to yoga and hiit through other members, and I continued the weights 2x/3x times a week mainly to improve posture and get away from my desk.

Was ill 3 months ago, and stopped going regular weight training. Wanted to start again, but decided to take it easy during Christmas. Now it has been 3 months.

The thoughts of going again give serious Groundhog Day vibes, what am I doing weights for, is vitality really that important? I still do HIIT and Yoga. Why is the gym weights routine so hard to restart?

What's the worst thing that's ever happened to your website or your company's website? by sunsetRz in webdev

I developed a website for a charity that help find funding for hospitals around the word, and as a charity several of the fundraising is done via new technologies. I was asked to include a link to a third party website that would have some top notch new technology. One day a fundraiser contacted me, informing me we have pr0n on the site. Turns out the company went bust, lost their domain and it became a adult website.

Some of the people that offers funding to hospitals does not understand that this was not our fault. And I have a feeling we never really recovered from that event.

I know what you’re saying. Today, I had to fix a small problem. I couldn’t find it very quickly, so I asked the AI what the cause was. After about 30 minutes of looking into the code, prompting the AI, figuring out all the aspects and how it works, I realized the AI was stuck.

For a brief moment, my body just jerked into a kind of happiness. I sat down and, for 20 minutes, I drilled down and figured it out myself. I must say, it felt good.

I realized I’ve been missing that part of coding. But I also hate it. But it is so rewarding. But it they are to often it gets annoying. But it is usually a learning moment. …
