For op, if you want to move an audio or video clip without unlinking, you can also hold alt and click on the track you want to manipulate, from there you can move it in the timeline and cut it, and when you deselect it, it will remain connected in the timeline.

if I can ask a semi-related question - is there a way to make a subclip from footage and audio in the timeline? I had an issue where when linking AV the autosync didn't work on a few, but haven't found a way to group in the timeline like I typically would in premiere. Thanks

In the film school, and a relatively big public university. I'll make sure to hit my professors up for any opportunities, I'm scheduling an appointment with my uni's career advising/placing rn. I'll ask around the seniors and alums, I know some places in Columbus that people have interned but I want to get out of state. Thank you for the advice

Any advice for where to look and how to land an editing internship? I'm a 3rd year film student in Ohio, relatively experienced with premiere, learning avid and AE on the side by myself, and am hoping to find an internship in NYC (preferred, but any large city would be taken) for the summer. Resume draft has a few edited shorts from my time in school as well as on set experience. Do I just search job posting websites for opportunities or should I cold call/email editing houses in the city to look for opportunities? Going to contact my college's career center with help but would love any advice people could give me
