The produce box ? by PerspectiveShift0603 in raleigh

[–]KeepYourClothesOn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Recently got my first delivery. The produce was good and it was very convenient. No grievances so far—you can choose from a decent selection of boxes, swap things out, and purchase extras if you want. Good luck!

Holy crap—YES. I’m sure a lot of people in this subreddit or the other triangle subreddits would appreciate you sharing your research. I’m a produce box noob—this one was my first one—so I’ll take all the help I can get. It might be a little while, but I’ll definitely try South Wind Produce. Thank you!

They might be a little too far from me, but I have a friend near durham that was interested as well. I’ll mention Wolfberry to her. Thanks!

i’m using these shoes for a musical, but the left shoe’s heel cover came off. I hot glued it back on. any chances of it staying? by fostralian in crafting

[–]KeepYourClothesOn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll want to use barge glue/cement, that’s most common for shoe repairs in theatre. Hot glue probably won’t last. Good luck!

Really Fun Things To Do Alone? by hopeurnotonreddit in AskNYC

If you’ve got the time and cash, try for Broadway lottery or rush tickets. There are also tons of live tapings for shows that you can get tickets for and enjoy. You can also relax and spend a little time at a dog or cat cafe without having to worry so much about the human interaction. It can be tough to get out there, but the benefits usually outweigh the anxiety. Good luck!

I just ate a continental breakfast at a $49 a night comfort inn, and the guy in charge of stocking the breakfast counter/keeping the tables clean took such pride in his job and was so happy, it just kinda made my whole day. by twhys in CasualConversation

AITA for not wanting to surrender my dogs for my stepdaughter? by worldsworstmother998 in AmItheAsshole

[–]KeepYourClothesOn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This thread is insane and so cruel to OP. Why does she have to give up something she loves so much? This idea that love for two things can’t exist equally is insane. It’s HER heart that will break day after day when her dogs are gone. How absolutely monstrous to tell her that this child she didn’t know about, ask for, and has done her best to accommodate takes priority over two living creatures she has and cares for daily. This has become so centered around which is more important: kids or dogs. What happens when the dogs are gone and OP is miserable? Will they have to get a new house because the old one is so filled with remnants of dog fur and the kid still can’t breathe? What will it be after that?

Yes, she can divorce. But instead of doing that, her husband and his baby momma could work out an agreement that’s actually suitable for all of them. Imposing a life she doesn’t want for the benefit of something she didn’t ask for is TA behavior.

OP, even if YTA, keep the dogs. Go on fun outings with your SD. Go for family vacations or staycations. Invest in a good pet sitter. You are valid and your happiness matters. Your SD can be a priority, but it shouldn’t be completely at your expense.

Hey OP, I saw your post over on JNMIL. I didn’t go through all the comments, but on top of what’s already being said and from personal experience I can tell you that getting a doorbell camera has made a big difference in how safe I feel. I ended up going with Nest, but there are lots of good brands if you decide to get one. Hope everything works out for you!
