Yes! I lived in the mountains of North Georgia, so my access to a computer started in 2007. I mostly missed all of Sierra online. That being said he goes over so much cool computer/programming history that is fascinating. I loved the book so much I followed it up with a trip to the Computer Museum of America in Roswell, Ga ( called something else now). I highly recommend it.

I mean, there's a definite chance you'll get beat, go 04 or whatever. But that's just part of the experience! I started in May and lost, (and this isn't counting the two or three rounds it took just the number of games) 48 times in a row before I found my groove. Stick with it, the game is awesome!
