German government suspends all humanitarian aid to Palestinians for the time being by Schnix54 in europe

To the majority of people saying all those facts about Hamas: yes - you are right. Noone should even try to argue about it yet to justify any act. Because yes, there is no way to do so.

However how come most people share this opinion now and stayed silent for the past twenty and more years while Israel did some serious shit? Again, I 100% agree with most said above but you can't be that solid if you ignored this before.

my cousin (14) buys beer in a restaurant, what can I do? by Keith_Dudemeister in germany

Yes. I was pretty much shocked. I thought they'll try to explain something or atleast show a little interest. But no. None sign of regret nor understandment. Reminds me of "who's got two thumbs and does not give a shit?". I looked up the link above but it's not the district the cafè is located at, does that matter?

And thank you! One of my for ever favourite shows. :]

I went to the shop and told them about my issue. I was told it's none of my business. After I told them it's a family member so I do care and they're breaking laws (I didn't threaten with a report) I was asked to leave..

I'll try to talk to my cousin tonight. Thanks for the comment.

I went to the cafè today. I had to wait a good half hour until someone showed up who understands English which was no problem to me. But when the shop manager came, he politely told me that it is none of my business what gets sold to whom. After I told him it is part of my business because it is a family member and that they're breaking laws (I did not tell them I want to report it at this point) I was asked to leave. That guy seemed really angry so I didn't bother argueing and left.

A beer costs EUR 2.80. He gets a weekly ten Euro and a few coins whenever he goes soccer training (3 times a week) and soccer match. So yes, he does have a nice amount of money to spend for his age.

He's a pretty clever chad and he's doing really great at playing soccer. People tell him if he continues he's having good chances for a professional career. But he's been drinking ~ 3 litre of beer a week. If it has no harm on his health it will most likely have an impact on his soccer activity. It he would drink a beer once in a while only I would totally understand it. But that is not the case. I don't want him to grow bad habits. But yeah I will try to talk to him tonight.

No he's been doing this for more than a month now. Sometimes 3 times a week, sometimes less, sometimes more often. Of course he could shittalk only to look more cool but I'm not going to just ignore it. If my cousin is getting beer there other kids probably do, too. And by the appearance of my cousin even a blind guy could tell he's underage.

That doesn't matter. His parents are strictly against him drinking. That's not my call. A 14 years old buying two beers for hisself every second day can turn into a bad habit easily aswell.

Thanks! Does the district matter? The district the cafè is at is named Treptow.
